In Genshin ImpactIn the Footsteps of the Dragon's Chosen is a long-running quest chain in Natlan that allows you to explore the Pyro Region and the Saurians. During the course of it, you will meet a new Saurian companion, tame a Yumkasaurus, lure an enemy character into a trap, deal with monsters, find a jeweler, and plant a seed. How to start the chain “In the Footsteps of the Dragon's Chosen”
Before you can take on the first quest of this line, you will have to meet a couple of conditions, namely:
- Reach at least adventure rank 40.
- Complete the Archons' quest “Flowers under the scorching sun”, which is the first chapter of the fifth volume of the main storyline.
Once you've completed the above requirements, you'll be able to dig up the saurian relics to begin the starting quest of the chain. We'll tell you more about this after the release of update 5.0…
Treasures and Collectors
As part of the first task, you will need to try your luck at excavations, follow the saurian companion, examine the treasure he found, and question Quipia. The Ordinary Life of a Saurian Lover
You will encounter a man surrounded by saurians. Help him by finding a way to distract the beasts. To do this, bring a bass and negotiate with the tepetlizaur, then defeat it. As a reward for completing this mission, you will receive 200 adventure points, 30 source stones, 35 thousand mora and the recipe “Bass in sweet and sour sauce”. Hide and Seek with a Tepetlizaur
Along the way, you will encounter a whole flock of Tepetlisaurs. Your Saurian companion will go play with them, but will not return. You will have to find your missing friend. You will find a wounded saurian far from human settlements. Chat with the suspicious warrior and examine the beast. Then follow your friend and try to heal the cornucopia. Exchange of gifts
