With the appearance in Zenless Zone Zeronew coastal location “Port Elpis”, another series of requests from Inspector Meowchelo became available. After completing each of them, the player will be able to open the corresponding quest medal from the mascot list and receive many valuable rewards, including: polychromes, denny, materials for agent development and Internet points. You will have to visit the port area at different times of the day, talk to many NPCs and fix several jammed rabbits.
In this guide, we will tell you how to find and complete each inspector's medal in Port Elpis. Find out how to meet all the banba and important quest givers, and at the end open the achievement “Medals are better than fish”.
How to start Meowchelo's assignments in Port Elpis in ZZZ
You can get to the port territory during the quest chain “And then a meteor shower struck”, but you can start searching for all the medals only after completing the fifth main line. Visit the location and talk to the mascot on the exit road to start the quest “See you there, Meowchel!“. Due to rumors of a conflict between the Security Service and the Special Operations Service in the caverns, the inspector risks losing his duties and panics ahead of time – let's help Meowchelo cheer up and realize the value of his position.
After finding out the reason for the mascot's depression, talk to Banbu KK before leaving. Then find the six rabbits who arrived with the patrolman (second screenshot above). They are divided into groups: Vizgobu, Raskalbu, and Robotyabu near the parking lot (the electric one will have to be adjusted in the mini-game with rings), Stihobu and Svirepobu in front of the French fries stand, and Dennibu in front of the stairs by the warehouse to the right of the lighthouse.
Listen to a few dialogues between Banbu and Meowchel, and then run to save Rashalbu on the distant pier. An emergency situation with a nearly drowned rabbit will bring Meowchel to his senses, and he will return to his direct duties.
All of Meowchel's medals in Port Elpis
In the general guide, we have collected all of Meowchelo's requests in New Eris, the list of which is constantly being updated with new locations.
There are 16 Meowchelo's Requests in the New Eris port area, for each of which you get 10 Polychromes, 5 thousand denni and a couple of blue magazines for pumping agents, or one copy of the power source for weapon development (amplifiers).
For keen hearing and a keen eye (request 1)
- Time: always.
The first medal is awarded for finding all the lost mini-trucks in the port location. We looked for them in a separate guide (information will be added later).
Silver and Gold Medals of Honor (requests 2 and 3)
- Time: AIC coin collection activities.
The second and third medals are awarded for partial and complete collection of all AIK club coins. We will also discuss all events related to them in a separate guide (information will be added later).
To Active Social Activist I (Request 4)
- Time: night.
Late at night, visit the pier at the far end of the location (with the 6th marker) and listen to the dialogue between the ship's banbu Ohranobu and Oficerbu to unlock the fourth request marker.
To the active public figure II (request 5)
- Time: evening.
At sunset, climb the stairs to the warehouse located to the right of the lighthouse. Listen to Sniperboo about his increased interest in the health of the local seagulls to earn a new mark.
Active Community Member III (Request 6)
- Time: morning.
Early in the morning, run to the Sea God monument, which is located to the right of the mascot. Here, listen to Zhadoba, who scolds the local idol for “stealing his battery” to open the sixth request mark.
Active Socialite IV (Request 7)
- Time: day.
During the day, visit the fishing spots opposite the Meowchel post and listen to the conversation between Golodobu and Rybolovobu – the rabbits decided to feast on the ether batteries that often get caught on the hook instead of live fish. After their dialogue, we will receive the seventh mark.
Help in Time of Need I (request 8)
- Time: day.
During the day, run towards the parking spaces and start tuning Krasnobu, who is clinging to the facade of the nearest building. Below we will leave the finished rabbit settings panel:
The beaten rabbit will thank you for the repair and go looking for the offender, and we will receive another reward and mark.
Help in Time of Need II (request 9)
- Time: night.
After sunset, head to the entrance to the lighthouse and help the upset in every sense of the word Yarkob. The screenshot below shows the correct banbu setup:
The rabbit, having come to his senses, will tell us about his dream of becoming a lighthouse keeper, and for helping us, we will receive a mark for the ninth request.
Help in Time of Need III (Request 10)
- Time: evening.
After sunset, run to the Sage in the Barrel at the bike parking lot and start tuning the Corporatbu. The kid in the penguin costume needs to restore the continuous supply of electricity, as shown in the screenshot below:
Korporatbu came up with another money-making scheme, but suffered from a dissatisfied customer – now he's on his feet, and we have a new 10th mark.
Help in Time of Need IV (Request 11)
- Time: morning.
In the morning, run to the end of the pier with the bronze fish statue, in front of which Meowchelo stands, and then turn left – here lies Kapitanboo, who needs tuning. The screenshot below shows how to properly conduct the current according to the diagram attached to it:
This clumsy but adventurous banbu slipped before climbing onto the sailboat. Now he is ready to set sail, and we are ready to collect the reward due for him, Request 11.
For helping others I (Request 12)
- Time: morning-evening.
- Requirement: completion of all previous orders from Venus.
The 12th request mark is connected with the quest “[City] Connection with the Stars (I)” from the already familiar Venus. The girl will be standing in front of the descent to the fishing spots. During this quest chain, we will have to help a friend find a rented apartment and deal with the Black Anchor gang.
For helping others II (request 13)
- Time: always (HDD).
Immediately after receiving the previous 12th mark, you will be given an HDD order – “[Battle] Connection with the Stars (III)” Help Kami North from the Security Service detain all the Black Anchor members so that they do not bother Venus anymore.
For helping others III (request 14)
- Time: morning-evening.
The 14th request mark is connected with the quest “[Town] A Foretold Death at Sea (I)“, which will start after a dialogue with a coughing guy named Nim – he stands to the right of Meowchel almost always, except in the dead of night. In the first part of the quest, you need to talk to several port employees about the “prediction” that haunts Nim.
For helping others IV (request 15)
- Time: always (HDD).
After getting the previous 14th mark, visit the port the next morning and talk to Thane at the first meeting place with Nim. During the dialogue, you will learn that the guy has sailed into the cavern on a boat and you will go to save him – this will create the HDD combat order “[Battle] Predicted Death at Sea (II)“.
For helping others V (request 16)
- Time: always (HDD).
Request 16 completes the entire “Foretold Doom at Sea” quest chain linked to Nim. It remains for us to find out the real identity of the desperate guy and help him find out the reasons for the death of his old friend.
Achievement “Medals are better than fish”
After you collect all 16 marks in Meowchel's checklist from Port Elpis, you will unlock the bronze achievement “Medals are better than fish” – for it you can get 5 polychromes from the section «Life» → «A Journey Through Reed».
