In Genshin Impact, Intertwining Reality and Dreams is a minigame in patch 5.1 and part of the global event “A Chromatic Ode to Candy and Roses”. In it, you will have to visit patients' dreams and look for distorted images in them, and then correct these elements. As a reward, you will receive Primogems, Exaltation Materials, and Festival Frenzy. In this guide, we will tell you how to complete all its modes.
How to start the mini-game “Intertwining Reality and Dreams”
Walkthrough of the Starter Quest
First of all, you will need to start the story quest “Surprise for Her”, which allows you to unlock access to all the trials of the main event. Next, take on the starter quest “Intertwining Dreams and Reality”.
You will need to find Dharmakirti in Porto Ormos and talk to her. She will tell you that she studies dreams and will ask for your help in treating psychological problems of patients. After talking to her, the quest will come to an end. As a reward for completing it, you will receive 10 thousand Mora, 2 Adventurer XP, and 4 Wanderer XP.
Upside Down
To begin, interact with Dharmakirti again, who is standing behind the counter in Porto Ormos. After that, the event page will open, where you will need to select the first stage.
Find the Inverted Items
You will have to help Collingwood find 6 anomalies, 3 of which are on the first floor, and 3 more on the second floor of the tavern. You will need to approach them and then use the attack button (LMB) to fix them.
On the first floor, you must first interact with the chair on the barrel and the deer head located to the left of the bar. Then go to the stairs and fix the overturned chair on the table. Then go up to the second floor and immediately turn left to remove the overturned deer head and chair. Finally, deal with the deer head hanging on the right side. The gif above shows all the objects.

Find the Floating Items
You will need to help Yu Guang find 8 anomalies in the foggy forest: 6 of them are statues, and 2 are wooden boxes. You will need to approach them and then use the attack button (LMB) to fix them.
You just need to walk along the edge of the location clockwise, fixing all the anomalies you encounter along the way. Note that some statues and boxes will be hidden inside the building. In the gif above, we showed in detail where to look for all the objects.

Find Unusual Monsters
You will have to help Higuchi Tetsuya find 8 anomalies in the village: we are talking about various NPCs in demon masks. You will need to approach them and then use the attack button (LMB) to fix them.
The characters you need are located in different parts of the settlement. Some of them are standing in the open (for example, near the teleporter), while others are hiding in the river or behind the shrine. In the gif below, we showed the location of all the people in masks.
