In Genshin Impact, Jumpers are enemies that can drop valuable resources such as Jumping Nectar, Shimmering Nectar, and Elemental Nectar. In this guide, we will look at the features of these monsters, strategies for fighting them, the best routes for farming and the purpose of their use.
Species of Jumpers
Bouncers are found throughout Teyvat and come in three varieties: pyro, cryo and electro. You can determine the type of jumper by its color. They can either be on the surface or disguise themselves as mint, sugar flower or fireweed grass. In this case, instead of the plant icon, you will see a message icon in the dialog box. You can also encounter these enemies when farming misty and flaming flowers.
All hoppers have the ability to teleport back to the surface in a new location, causing the player to change position frequently during combat against hoppers. All such monsters have the same types of attacks:
- Melee elemental energy attack.
- Ranged area attack.
- A charged attack that deals fairly high damage. At the same time, it takes several seconds to “charge” it, during which the jumper creates an elemental shield. If you destroy it with the help of a reaction, then the “charging” will stop, and the enemy will go into a stunned state, during which it will not attack the player.
Below we will consider the features of each type of jumping and give advice to fight them.
Pyro Jumper
Deals pyro damage and has the following stats:
In order to destroy her shield as quickly as possible, it is most effective to use hydro and cryo elements. It is not recommended to use the pyro element, since it is not able to destroy the shield, and the jumper herself has increased immunity to it.
Cryo jumper
Can deal cryo damage. This view has the following stats:
For the destruction of her shields, the pyro element will be especially effective, the electro will show itself a little worse, but still much better than other elements. Due to the increased resistance of the cryo element, it will be practically ineffective. Be careful with these enemies when fighting in the water: they can freeze you.
Electro Jumper
At the moment, they are only found in Inazuma, they deal electro damage and have the following characteristics:
Against this type of jumper, pyro, cryo and hydro attacks will be effective, which, thanks to elemental reactions, can destroy the shield faster. It is not recommended to use electro strikes.
Location of jumpers
Below you can see the location of all jumpers on the map of Teyvat.
Mondstadt
In Mondstadt they are quite common.
Li Yue
In Li Yue there are a fairly large number of these monsters.
Inazuma
On the islands of Inazuma, you will mainly encounter Electro Hoppers.
Sumeru
In this region, jumpers live only in the jungle.
If necessary, you can find them yourself using the interactive map or the “Adventurer's License”, where in the enemies → normal tab you can start tracking jumps in the game.
Bouncer farming route
At the points below, you can quickly find more than 30 jumpers. If you use it regularly, then you will definitely be able to pump all your characters who need nectar for development. When farming, it is best to add elemental pyro, hydro and cryo heroes to the team in order to use the most effective element against each type. If necessary, it is worth including a Shielder in the squad.
Go to the Temple of the Wolf dungeon, next to which you can find three cryo jumpers. The second monster will be disguised as a mint flower.
Next, you need to move to the teleporter in the Howling Winds Highlands to the temporary camp. On this section of the path you will meet 5 jumpers. Each of them will have a cryo element, and the second and third will pretend to be mint.
You can then teleport to the Forgotten Canyon or teleport to lake near Springvale. This area is inhabited by 1 pyro and 2 cryo jumpers, the last one in the form of mint.
Another monster can be found not far from Cecilia's Garden.
Next, move to the statue of the Archons in the Yaoguang Shoal area. The first jumper disguised itself as a sugar flower. For the second one to appear, you need to go directly to the shell on the beach.

All but the last popryguni on this segment will be disguised as plants.
The final point on our route will be the teleport in Jasper Forest , near the Reed Islands. A little above it you can find two jumpers disguised as mint.
How to get nectar of nectar
All Jumpers, regardless of species, can drop Jumper Nectar, Shimmer Nectar, and Elemental Nectar. The level of the enemy determines how valuable the resource will be.
You can also craft the missing materials in alchemy. Shimmering Nectar will require three Jumping Nectars and twenty-five Morata; for the Elemental, three Shimmering Nectars and fifty Mora. We recommend using Sucrose or Dory for this to save the materials used.
In addition, a limited amount of amount of Elemental Nectar for starlight, and Shimmer Nectar and Jumping Nectar for stardust.
What is Jumping Nectar used for
You will need this resource to level up such characters as Ke Qing, Mona, Gan Yu, Hu Tao, Sucrose, Sayu, Shen He. It takes 32 Popryguni Nectars, 96 Shimmery Nectars and 129 Elemental Nectars to fully level one character.
When leveling up weapons, material is needed for:
- 3* Metal Shadow and Millelite's Halberd;
- 4* Favonius Warbow; Battle Pass weapons: Dragonbone Sword, Sun Pearl, Death Kombat Spear; two-handed Sword-bell; Permafrost Fruit and Event Bow Ode to Anemone;
- 5* Signs of Shen He the Misfortune Quiller.
That's all the information about the bouncers in Genshin Impact. We hope that this guide will help you find these monsters and effectively farm nectar for leveling heroes.
