Star-flame Keystone is a five-star relic in Genshin Impact, marked as a hero leveling material, which we can find in our inventory after completing the Archons quest Natlan. In this guide, we will tell you where you can get it now, and what it is for.
How to get Star-flame Keystone
Currently, the Keystone can be obtained after completing the story mission “The Black Stone Buried Under the White”. The mysterious item will appear in your backpack in a single copy after completing the quest.
After completing the world quest “Journey to the Mysterious Island” (but first you need to open and complete the first two chapters).
For completing the Huitztlan quest “Deal with Kinich”, which will become available after completing the missions “Mysterious Guest from Huitztlan” and “Hero's Ceremony”.
For the third chapter of Nanatzkayan, which, unfortunately, is not available in version 5.0 and will appear in the next Natlan updates, but for now you can complete the first two chapters of the quests.
The Exaltation Material can also be obtained for completing the world quest “Between Promise and Oblivion”, the Keystone will automatically be added to your inventory after completing the mission “Revelations of the Past”.
In the patch “Flowers in the Burning Sun” there is no weekly boss from which you could get this material, and the description of the Cornerstone of Stars and Flames itself does not look like a standard description of leveling materials, since it does not provide any information about where it can be collected and what its story is: “Heroes light the sacred flame, illuminating the world. In the end, they will find peace among the stars” – these words refer to the plot of Natlan, perhaps the future world boss will be somehow connected with this, coming from the Abyss or the Realm of Night, but, according to rumors, we will get access to it during the quest with our tepetlisaur. In the meantime, we can only guess what awaits us.
What is the Star-Flame Keystone for?
Since the Keystone is a character development material, it will most likely be needed to level up the talents of future Natlan characters, such as Mavuika and Capitano, or even Pyro the Traveler.
