Unlocking the boost for Durin can only be done after completing the event quest “An Unexpected Assignment”, where Travelers are given a key tool – “The Little Witch’s Dictionary” (more about it ina separate guide).
Next, just open the dictionary in your Inventory, find the image of Durin and accept the quest associated with it, after which it will appear in the task log.
Visit Ordo Favonius
To meet the dragon again, get to Ordo Favonius and go to the headquarters located in the southwest of the Anemo fortress of the region. Durin will share stories about his life in Mondstadt and adjusting to the human world. Hearing that the letter he brought was written by Reindottir herself, he becomes noticeably agitated, but still decides to familiarize himself with its contents.
Having opened the Dictionary, the company will be transported to an anomalous area, where a black cat will be waiting for them, acting on behalf of Rain. If Chapter 1 of Durin’s personal quest “Narrative Magic” has already been completed, Paimon will recognize the stranger as Sebas, and if not, the acquaintance will take place on the spot. In any case, the battle and subsequent conversation will be inevitable.
Defeat the monsters
Complete a combat activity by defeating the rogue hilichurl and slimes. To speed up the fight, use Durin's dark stance (E → hand attack → Q). After the victory, the final quest dialogue will begin – the heroes will discuss what happened with Sebas and find out Reindottir's intermediate solution.
Buff “Witch's Eve Ritual: Ode of Ascension”
