In Genshin Impact, The Lost Traveler in the Abode of Ash is a large-scale quest chain of Natlan, consisting of several separate chapters with their own missions and allowing you to explore Ochkanatlan. During this quest, you will have to go on a quest to find the Jade of Return, track down an evil dragon, obtain a suspicious core, collect fire stones and sacrifice them to the Altar of Primordial Fire. How to Start the “Lost Traveler in the Abode of Ash” Chain
Before you can begin the first quests of this line, you will need to meet several conditions, which include:
- Reach Adventure Rank 40. We have provided tips on how to increase it in a separate article.
- Complete the Archons' quest “The Rainbow Is Doomed to Burn,” which is the fourth chapter of Volume 5 of the main story.

A City Covered in Ash
During the first chapter of the story, which includes only one task, you will have to go to the tower with the statue and explore it, then explore the Ash Street and collect the fragments of the mysterious source. Next, you need to shoot down the evil dragon with a superlaser, track it down and defeat it in the lair.

A Dream of the Distant Sky
The second chapter consists of three missions in which you will have to find the Altar of Primordial Fire, deal with monsters and start the discovered mechanism. Then you need to explore the ruins, cleanse the pollution of the Abyss and study the suspicious fallen core. At the end, bring pyrophosphorite to the altar.

Tremor “Tonatiuh”
The third chapter includes two missions and three quests related to finding fire stones and donating them to the Altar of the Primordial Fire.
