Completing the quest “The Answer of Lotus Leaves and the Forest” in Genshin Impact
How to start the quest
< p>First of all, you need to go through the previous missions of the chain called “Forest and the Princess” and “Lotus and the Champion”. Next, rewind the game time to the next day or simply move to another region and then return back. After this, Paimon will note that we should visit our new friends in Simulank. A new task will immediately appear in your journal.
Move to the teleporter in the Kingdom of Winds and Bells, and then jump down to the place where the paper frogs and flying squirrels are gathered. Chat with them.
How to open the door to the Cave of Eerie Rustle
Teleport to the waypoint near the closed door in the east of the Forest of Blessings. Immediately after this, a dialogue with Forober and Simeste will begin. Next, you will need to try to open the door to the cave.
The first puzzle awaits you. So, first press the “T” key to make the flying squirrel fly up to you and the frog to jump onto the pedestal. Now approach Forober and select the “Lower Water Pillar” option. Next, launch Simesta into the orange bud to the left of the door to create an air flow. At the end, shoot it through the rings on the left and return it to you through the rings on the right. The gif below shows the solution.
How to get through the Cave of Eerie Rustles
Go through the opened passage and go to the wall to listen to the princess's story. Then continue down and go through the tunnel to the next sign. Watch the video, and then enter the spacious hall and go downstairs to your friends.
First test
First, press the “T” key to bind to get yourself a flying squirrel and make the frog climb onto the pedestal. Next, launch the princess into the yellow flower on the left to activate the air flow, and then go to Forober and select the “Raise a pillar of water” option. Go to the right bud and hit it with Simesta too.
Shoot the flying squirrel through the rings on the right and below so that the animal rises up the air flow . After this, stand on the lotus bowl a little behind and wait until it rises. A rich chest will appear below – go to it and open it to trigger a new cut-scene. Listen to the story of the frog and the princess. You can then proceed to the second challenge.
Second Challenge
As usual, press the “T” key to summon the flying squirrel. The frog will jump onto the pedestal on the right – go up to it and select “Lower the water pillar”. Now activate the descended flower by hitting it with a squirrel. Go to the pedestal on the left and interact with it to make Forober jump onto it. Click on it again to lower the second bud, and activate it with the princess's blow.
Now launch the third flower to the right and a little behind, forming a single corridor from the rings – shoot the flying squirrel through it. As a result, it will fly to the left. Get on the moving lotus bowl on the left, wait until it rises, and then call Simesta to you. The full solution to the puzzle is shown in the gif above.
Having solved the third test, go downstairs and talk to the princess. A cutscene will then begin in which the relic will suddenly glow and then fly into the air, taking you with it. Start flying after the artifact, rushing through Simulanka locations.
