In Genshin Impact, the luxury chests on the Tecatepetonco Ridge, Cuahuacan Cliff, and Ochkanatlan are important objects, as provide Mora, Primogems, Pyro Seals, and Scarlet and Purple Obsidian Fragments. They can be found by exploring areas of Patch 5.2, completing quests, completing challenges, and solving puzzles. In this guide, we will show you the locations of all of these chests and tell you how to open them.
Where to find luxury chests on the ridge, cliff and in Ochkanatlan
There are 12 luxury chests to be found in the new locations of the Pyro Kingdom. Only a few of them are in plain sight – most are hidden in secluded corners, which can only be accessed after performing certain actions.
The map above shows the approximate locations of all the luxurious chests in the indicated areas (including those hidden in the tombs of the depths). We will take a closer look at obtaining them below.
Luxurious Chest 1
- Area: Ochkanatlan (center)
You will receive it at the end of the world quest “Palace of the Illusory Serpent”, which is part of the quest chain “Dream in the Distant Sky”. You will need to clean up the pollution and then protect the fallen core. Immediately after that, a luxurious chest will appear next to it. The pictures below show its exact location.
Luxurious chest 2
- Area: Ochkanatlan (north)
It can be found in a secret area submerged in water, far north of Ochkanatlan. You can only get there after completing a large puzzle involving purple portals near the Night Wind Lords settlement. We've covered it in detail in a separate guide.
Luxurious Chest 3
- Area: Lords of the Night Wind
Near the settlement of this clan, you can find a huge talking drawing of a raven, “The Will of the Mysterious Graffiti”. You will be asked to clear three areas where a dark haze was found. After doing this, you can get the chest you need and unlock the trophy “The Finishing Touch”. We have written about this in more detail in a separate article.
Luxurious Chest 4
- Area: Lords of the Night Wind (south)
Not far from the statue of Pyro Archon, you can find Mamul, who offers travelers to pass a test and receive chests as a reward, including a luxurious one. To do this, you need to solve puzzles with colored manitou and stones. You can read more about this in our separate guide.
Luxurious Chest 5
- Area: Flowerfeather Clan (North)
To the north of the settlement, on the seashore, you can find three groups of manitou playing various games. Play with them, solving several riddles, and then restore the huge drawing on the rock and open the achievement “Bright colors of the seashore”. As a reward, you will receive a luxurious chest. We talked about this in more detail in a separate article.
Luxurious Chest 6
- Area: Flower Feather Clan (southeast)
Near the arena with the Twilight Papilla, you can find a secret cave where you will need to complete a series of puzzles related to the adventures of Kuntur. You will have to turn into an ictomisaur and paint stones with colored manitou, and at the end you will have a mini-game. As a reward, you will receive chests and the achievement “The picture speaks”. We talked about this in more detail in a separate article.
Luxurious Chest 7
- Area: Lords of the Night Wind (West)
You will need to complete the secret world quest “The Secret of Tecoloapan Beach”, which takes place on an island covered in fog. You will need to unlock several seals and then defeat the Void-infected incarnation of Wyob.
Luxurious Chests 8-9
- Area: Ochkanatlan
Both chests can be obtained by solving the puzzle with the old sword on the Ash Street of the specified location. As part of it, you need to activate 5 furnaces of fiery flame. You will receive one chest when activating the furnace in the southeast, and the second – after getting into the secret area. We examined this puzzle in detail in a separate guide.
Luxurious chest 10
- Area: Ochkanatlan
You will be able to get it after completing the world quest called “Open Your Heart to Me”. After completing it, do not leave the area with the dragon statue. Instead, turn around and go into the open round passage. Go down into the small room, and you will find a luxurious chest here.
Luxurious Chests 11-12
- Region: Ochkanatlan
They can be found in two Natlan Depths Tombs located in Ochkanatlan. We've covered how to get them in detail in a separate guide.
