In Genshin Impact, the luxurious chests in Gavireh Lajavard and the realm of Farahkert (Among the Sands) are a valuable treasure of the region, added to the game with the release of patch 3.6 . You can get them by solving riddles, completing tasks, exploring new locations and fighting monsters. In this guide, you will learn where to find these chests and how to unlock them.
Where to find luxury chests in Gavireh Lajavard and Farahkert
In these two areas, you can find 8 luxury chests, and one of them is hidden in the tomb of the deep, which we showed in the middle of the article. The map below shows the approximate location of all chests. More detailed information on how to search for them is provided later in the text.
We advise you to start finding these treasures after completing the Hvarna of Good and Evil quest chain, so that you have all the underground locations open in advance. We have covered some puzzles in separate guides – they will be given the appropriate links.
Luxury Chest 1
- Location: Samudra Coast
Move to the teleport shown on the map below, then run north to the jutting cliff. Jump off it and glide to an island in the sea. We advise you to eat some endurance meals as you will most likely have to swim in the end.
You will find a chest on the island. You don't need to solve any puzzles or fight enemies to open it.
Luxury Chest 2
- Location: Asipattravana Swamp
Move to the underground teleport west of the swamp, turn right and jump down from the wooden platform. Run forward to the round entrance and go through it. Enter the spacious hall and turn right here.

You will find yourself in another large room with stairs. Go down to the very bottom and enter the testing ground. Go to the center of the arena, turn right and use the four leaf symbol to go upstairs. Then go to the big round gate ahead and go through it.
Run further along the corridor, turn left, and you will see a luxurious chest on the ground. You will most likely pick it up while completing the above questline.
Luxury Chest 3
- Location: Tuniga Gap
Teleport to the underground to the travel point in the specified area, go down from the ledge and jump into the hole in the center of the room. Jump off the iron platform even lower and step onto the round elevator to descend to the lowest level.
Go to the locked door to the east and open it with the console on the left. Run into the cave with crystals and move forward. Climb up a little to get into the new spacious area of Hang-e Afrasiab. Approaching the cliff, by the way, you will unlock the achievement “Inbox, leave hope”.
Turn right and walk along the cliff. Then start climbing the wall to get to another ledge. Walk a little further and climb up the pillar next to the root. Climb even higher on the spiked root, and then cross to the other side, where there is a huge gate.
To the right of the gate, not far from the gray crystal, there will be a luxurious chest half buried in the sand. Open it to get treasure.
Luxury Chest 4
- Location: Asipattravan Swamp
Here you will see a locked luxury chest with three fairy gardens around it. You have to find these spirits and bring them to the “houses”. To do this, you will have to solve several puzzles with nirodha fruits, amrita crystals and purple fog. We covered this in detail in a separate guide.
Luxury Chest 5
- Location: Asipattravan Swamp
It is hidden in tomb of the depths. Move to the teleport shown on the map below, and then turn right and run along the path forward. Soon you will see stone steps on the right – start climbing up them. After rising, go along the cliff to the northeast, and in the distance you will notice the top of the tomb.
Go to the stone building, unlock it and take the luxurious chest. The exact location of the shrine is shown in the screenshots below.
Luxury chest 6
- Location: Tuniga Gap
At the indicated location, you will find a locked chest surrounded by three gray crystal monsters. To unlock it, you will need to free the monsters from captivity, and then kill them. This can be done with the help of spirit cores (green spheres). You can read more about this in our separate guide.
Luxury Chest 7
- Location: Vurukash Oasis
In the indicated place, you need to find four fairies and bring them to the stone gardens, having solved the tests with the flies of Hvarna before that. Then you should pass the final challenge with the collection of Dendro particles. Only after that a luxurious chest will appear. We talked about all these puzzles in detail in a separate article.

Luxurious Chest 8
- Location: Asipattravan Swamp
In the marked area you will find three kori drum puzzles. You need to solve them and then pass three tests with springy mushrooms. At the end, you will gain access to the chest and unlock the “Drum Dance” achievement. We examined all these riddles in detail in a separate article.
