In Genshin Impact, the Hadramavet Desert Luxurious Chests are the main treasure of the region, which was added to the game with the release of update 3.4. You can get them by solving various puzzles, completing quests, fighting monsters and exploring new locations. In this guide, we will tell you where you can find all these rare chests in the specified area, and how to open them.
How to find and open luxury chests in the Hadramavet Desert
11 luxury chests can be found in this region, three of which are hidden in the tombs of the depths, which we will note at the end of the list. The map below shows the approximate location of all chests. More detailed information about their location is presented later in the text. We have also provided links to guides for obtaining these treasures.
Luxury Chest 1
- Location: Safkhe Shatranj (Abandoned Temples)
It is hidden in the ruins of the temple, the entrance to which is located in the northwestern part of the indicated area. Here you have to solve the sand tank puzzle to unlock three chests: two regular and one deluxe. We have provided a complete solution to this puzzle in a separate tutorial.
Luxury Chest 2
- Location: Break-legs Valley (underground)
You can get to the desired area during or after completing the world quest “Abundance Under the Sand Dunes III”. Here you will find five Dendro Monuments that you need to activate, however two totems will be blocked – to unlock them you need to bring two primordial sparks to the torches. You can read more about solving the riddle in a separate guide.
Glorious Chest 3
- Location: Lilupar Dungeon (Safkhe Shatranj)
You can get access to this location when completing the world quest “Temple where the sands flow like tears.” Then you can come back here at any time. Here you will find several blocked Dendro monuments. To activate them, you will need to select the correct symbols on the obelisks and fight the enemies. A separate guide shows how to get to this area and solve the local riddle.
Luxury Chest 4

Can be found inside a dilapidated building. To get into it, you will have to solve a multi-stage puzzle with cells, primeval luminaries and prisms. You will also be able to open an amazing chest. The full solution to this puzzle is presented in our other article.
Luxury Chest 5
- Location: Eternal Oasis
Access to the Garden of Pairidaez will open after completing the questline “Bilcis Memorial Service”. To get into it, you just need to interact with the movement point near Mount Damavand. Next, you have to collect the memories of the Oasis of Eternity in order to solve the puzzle and get the right chest. We covered this in another guide.
Luxury Chest 6
