In Honkai: Star Rail, Mad Monkeys are a mission to continue exploration and part of the “Banana Mayhem: Battles Without Ninjas and Mercy” chain, in which you must scout the road and find a way to get to the Bayunan Club by finding a member card or by passing the exam. Passage of the quest “Mad Monkeys”
How to start the quest
It starts automatically immediately after completing the previous mission of the line called “Four Hundred Monkeys”. Open the journal, find the corresponding task and start tracking it. If the quest does not appear, try moving to another location or logging out of your account and re-logging in after 20-30 minutes.
Find out the reason for the noise and talk to Mikhey
Once you have Boothill under your control, leave the establishment, go down the stairs and talk to the crowd that has gathered. When the people disperse, go up to Mikhey and talk to him. He will tell you about the Bayunanovyj Club, which may not be just a new youth trend.
How to Scout the Road Yourself
Head southeast to the quest marker and approach the two NPCs. One of them will be Homo sapiens 347. Listen to the dialogue between the characters. Once the fan is chased away, approach the bouncer and talk to him. To enter the club, you will need to pass an exam. You can choose one of three topics: you can choose any, since you will fail anyway.
After finishing the conversation, turn around and turn the camera to the right – you will see Zaryanka ahead. Go up to her and talk to the singer. She will be able to cure Boothill of his “banana disease” and give advice on how to get into the club.
How to Find a Way to Get to the Bayunan Club
There will be three new markers in the location that you will need to visit. You can do this in any order. We first went to the northwest corner of the area where we found Monella. You will receive from her the Bayunan Pendant of the Handyman, which will be useful to you when passing the exam.
Now go east to the crossing and chat with the Sociable Bayunanomanka, who will sing us a song. Go along the bridge a little further and go to the table on the left. You will find a fanfic on it.
Next, you will find a fork in the road – you can try to pass the exam honestly by answering all the questions, or find a membership card and pass with it. The option you choose will not affect the ending or rewards of the quest in any way, but you will receive different achievements. We will consider both options and indicate their achievements.
Where is the membership card (first option)
After visiting all three locations, return to the place where you previously talked to Mikhey. You will again find a crowd of people here, arguing with each other about the placement of the monkey statue. Chat with them, and then engage in combat with the enemies. It is recommended that you take electrical damage dealers with you (or those who do not care about the vulnerability of enemies).
After dealing with the enemies, you will receive the Bayunan Club Membership Card (Gold bayunan). After that, go to Homo sapiens 347 and when talking to him, choose the answer “Here is my membership card”. As a result, you will be able to skip the test and get the “Cudgel and Whip” trophy.
Pass the cutie exam (second option)
If you did not get a membership card, you can try to pass the exam. To do this, return to Homo sapiens 347 and enter into dialogue with him. Then select the “Who accepts into the club?” answer to start the test. By the way, you will not be able to break through by fighting, since Boothill will immediately reject this idea.
So, you have to answer 3 questions, and you can skip one question if you say that you came from Monella. However, even if you make a mistake, the game will allow you to answer again. Below we will indicate all the correct options (they are underlined in gold in the game):
- Homo sapiens, Homo habilis, Monkey.
- Let go of everything – and you will look at the world with fresh eyes.
- Scary and terrible.
Once you pass the exam (you will receive the achievement “Nobody understands Bayunans better than me”), watch the new video with Boothill and Zaryanka. When they disperse, the galactic ranger will start seeing phrases in the air, and then Mart 7 will suddenly appear. This will end the mission.
As a reward, you will receive 40 star jades, 300 mastery points, 3 refined ethers, 3 lost crystals and 30 thousand credits. Plus, you'll gain access to the next quest in the chain, called “Clockwork Banana.”
