In Genshin Impact, Mastery of Light and Shadow is a daily quest from Natlan, during which you will need to take pictures of several objects for the poet Zi Chen. This will allow you to not only get the standard reward, but also unlock the trophy “Walking in Search of Inspiration” by fulfilling certain conditions. In this guide, we will tell you what you need to do for this.

How to start the quest
Recall that, unlike regular world quests, you cannot start a daily by simply approaching a specific location or talking to a specific character, as they are random. Let us add that before you start receiving quests in Natlan, you will need to complete the mission “Onward to Blazing Adventures!”.
Once you do this, be sure to select Natlan in the desired region column, which is located in your Adventurer's Handbook. This will slightly increase the chance of getting the necessary daily quest.
So, having received the corresponding quest, go to the Stadium of the Sacred Flame, located in the western part of the main area of ​​the Pyro region. You probably already have the teleporter open, located inside the stadium, where the adventurers' guild is also located. Go to the far end of the lower floor and enter into a dialogue with Zi Chen.
Important: Note that the poet may ask you to photograph one of three objects: the Djembe Studio, the Teppetli Stage, or the Courier Office. We will consider each option separately below. We will add that Zi Cheng, in addition to the main goal, will also name additional objects for filming – you must take pictures of them to get the “Walk in Search of Inspiration” achievement.
Option 1: Photograph the “Djembe Studio”
Move to the teleporter near the Spring People settlement, and then scroll through time to the interval between 6 and 8 am. Head to the quest marker and approach Anchieta, who owns the Djembe Studio.
Now select the camera in the Paimon menu, point the lens at the trading post, make sure that all the objectives are completed (there are green checkmarks next to them) and take a photo by pressing “Enter”. It is not necessary to save the photo.
Two Famous Shops
Two trading shops will appear as an additional objective. The first of them is called “Xochicquicatl” and is located near the previous shop (see screenshots below). Note that in this case, when taking a photo, you need to make sure that the inscription at the top of the screen lights up indicating that the correct angle for the camera has been selected.
The second store, Seti Atlaua, is located just to the west of the previous one. The images below show the corresponding location.
Option 2: Take a Photo of the “Tepetli Scene”
Teleport to the Echo Children settlement and set the time to between 11am and 1pm. Now go to the quest marker indicating the performance stage. Stand in front of it, take the camera and take a photo of the desired object. Again, there should be check marks next to the inscriptions on the left.
Special Gem Shop
We are talking about the Mukhura Gems shop, which is run by Chiven. Turn around, go in the opposite direction from the stage, cross the wooden bridge, then turn left and go up the steps. On the right you will find the shop you need – take a photo of it.
Option 3: Take a Photo of the Courier Office
Move to Akla (manages reputation in the Kron Scions settlement), then turn around, go down the steps and turn right – the courier office is right in front of you. Set the time to between 5 and 6 PM, take out your camera and take a photo.
A Huge Rock Painting
Now turn around and run along the wooden path to the south until you see a large graffiti on the left side, painted right on the rock. Take a photo of it.
How to Unlock the Achievement “Walking in Search of Inspiration”
After taking a photo of the main and secondary objects, return to the poet at the stadium and give him the photos. Note that during the conversation you should have the line “I wasn't even lazy and took a few extra photos.” This means that you have completed all the necessary objectives.
Once the conversation is over and the mission is complete, you will unlock the corresponding trophy, for which you will receive 5 more Primogems in addition to the standard reward for dailies.
