In Genshin Impact, Melodic Chant is a quest chain in Natlan and part of a larger story, “Prayer for a Blessing on the Ridge.” During it, you will have to help Tlasoli, support Shilonen in her work, return the inscriptions on the firecrystal, and stop the ritual. In this guide we will tell you how to start this line and give you links to complete all the tasks.
How to Start the Melodious Singing Sequence
Before you can begin the first quests in this series, you must meet certain requirements, namely:
- Achieve at least Adventure Rank 40 (or Rank 28 if you use the Quick Start).
- Complete the Archon quest “The Rainbow Is Doomed to Burn,” which is the fourth chapter of Volume 5.
- Complete the world quest “Hoarse Echoes”, which is the last chapter of the Children of Echoes storyline.
Once you have dealt with the specified requirements, go to the Legends quests page, open the “Chronicles of the Tribes” section, select the “Nanatskian: Children of Echoes” category and start tracking the third chapter of the story.
Threadlike Whispers
The traveler decides to visit Tlasoli again to find out if the inscription on the firecrystal is ready. You will have to visit Xilonen, take Tlasoli home so that she can rest, and then bring her food and drive away the monsters. At the end, you need to check on Tlapal. As a reward for completing it, you will receive 450 adventure points, 38 thousand mora, 4 hero books and 8 units of magic ore of enhancement.
Weak signals
Shilonen will be able to figure out the technology of creating the inscription decorations on the firecrystal. She will understand why Tlasoli needed them. To confirm her guess, she wants to decipher the main inscription and understand the internal structure, and only then decide whether to help Tlasoli or not. The traveler will have to help her with this and return the inscriptions on the firecrystal.

Cacophony of Moans
Tlasoli will reveal his true intentions and forcibly take Nepeka to the old workshop. You will need to save the girl by catching up with Tlasoli and stopping her ritual. As a reward for completing this quest, you will receive 500 adventure points, 44 thousand mora, 5 hero books, 10 units of magic ore of enhancement, and the Cornerstone of Stars and Flames. Return of Serenity
Having managed to resolve the crisis, you took Tlasoli into custody, and Nepeka managed to get her “name” back. The inscriptions on the firecrystals will be destroyed. You will have to wait until the next day and visit Shilonen in her workshop.
As a reward for completing this task, you will receive 200 adventure points, 17 thousand mora, 8 adventurer experience, 4 units of magic ore of enhancement, 60 primogems and 5 instructions on “Incineration”. A detailed walkthrough of the quest is presented in our separate material.
