In Genshin Impact, Messages from a Kingdom Resident are special wooden tablets that can be found in the Constellation Capital (Simulanka). They contain riddles that contain hidden clues to finding treasures. In this guide, we will tell you where to find these tablets, as well as how to solve all the puzzles and find the chests.
All messages from a kingdom resident in Simulank
First of all, you will need to take on completing the story quest “They Follow the Stars” to open access to the desired location. On the territory of the Constellation Capital you can find 4 wooden tablets with messages that lead to four chests. Next we will tell you in detail how to find them.
Message from a resident of the kingdom (I)
Move to the southern teleport of the city, and then turn the camera to the left, and you will immediately see a wooden plank slightly ahead. Approach it and interact with the object to read the first clue: “The first treasure was hidden in a pile of rocks under a tree in the backyard.”
After reading the message, go around the house behind the sign on the left side, and you will see a lone tree in its backyard, at the foot of which there is a pile of leaves. Use any Anemo or Pyro attack to remove the leaves and get a regular chest.
Open it, and then explore the area to find a Note in the chest (I), which will give a hint on finding the next puzzle: “Go to the bell tower southwest of the capital.”
Message from a resident of the kingdom ( II)
Walk back to the previous teleportation point, but now go northwest, passing through the arch and the giant puzzle. Near the house you will find a new wooden sign with the following hint: “Climb to the top of the bell tower and follow the bell.”
Next, start climbing the building, which consists of large cubes. Stop at the corners of the cubes if you need time to recover stamina. Having risen to the very top, interact with the bell to begin the test.
In this test you will need to find patterns in the formation of balls and collect them in a certain order. Stand on the white circle and collect three rows of blue spheres in the sequence we indicated.
Then stand on the next white circle, go to the oracle pillar and press the “F” key to go down. Standing on another circle, collect four rows of blue balls in the order shown in the picture below.
Run further along the platforms to the new circle. Stand on it, pick up three rows of blue spheres in the order we have indicated. You will complete the test and receive a rich chest. Open it and examine the Note in the Chest (II), which will say that the next puzzle is located in Pendulum Alley northeast of the capital.
Message from a kingdom resident (III)
Teleport to the top of the castle, and then run to the eastern edge of the area and jump down from it. Plan towards the wall near which the balloon is more visible. Here, next to the graffiti, you will find a third board with a hint: “Checking your understanding of the patterns of drawings.”
You will see a yellow arrow on the wall showing where you need to go. Go up the steps and on the first flight of stairs you will notice an empty white circle. Walk up to it and select the “Draw a frog…” option. Climb even higher, go to the second circle and click on the inscription “Draw a flying squirrel…”.
As a result, a precious chest will appear next to you. Open it and examine the Note in the chest (III), which will give you a hint to find the next riddle: “Go to the station outside the capital.”
Message from a kingdom resident (IV)
Travel to the teleport north of the capital, near the train station on the water. If you haven't opened it yet, you can glide there from the top of the castle. From the waypoint, head south a little up the hill to find the final sign with the hint: “Why not leave it next to the chairs at the station.”
Return to the station and approach the wooden benches. Near them you will find a pile of leaves – destroy it with any Anemo or Pyro attack. Behind them you will find a regular chest and a fourth note, in which the stranger will say that this was his last treasure.
The treasure lover will also report that he went to the ends of the world overseas, where is going to find other treasures. It may be possible to find additional hidden chests in the game after the release of the new Simulanka area. We will update the guide as necessary.
