Suitable characters

Given the anomaly of the earth's arteries, we strongly recommend that you take Dendro characters. Thus, you can increase the mastery of the elements of the fighters, increasing the damage from reactions. It is recommended to supplement them with Electro and Hydro heroes to create Stimulation and Budding, respectively.

We do not advise you to take too many Hydro characters, and Anemo heroes can be completely abandoned. The fact is that in the level IV dungeon you will mainly fight with outcast hilichurls, which have 50% resistance to Hydro and Anemo elements. Plus, Anemo doesn't interact with Dendro.

Of course, you also need good supports. As a shielder, you can take Tom, Zhong Li, Bai Zhu or Kirara. A good healer might be Barbara, Kuki Shinobu, Kokomi, Dory, or Yao Yao. The screenshot below shows the characters from which you can easily assemble a good squad for this dungeon.

How to beat the Molten Fortress

The essence of this dungeon is to destroy a certain number of enemies in a specified period of time (usually given 5 minutes). Thus, all your efforts should be aimed at inflicting maximum damage on the largest number of enemies, so be sure to take your strongest Dendro or Electro damage dealers.

It should be remembered that the most damage will increase on those characters whose build is based on elemental mastery. On the first levels of the dungeon, you will have to fight with large groups of enemies, but on the last level, you will have to fight against strong single enemies, so it is not necessary to take damage dealers with a large damage radius.

Molten Fortress in Genshin Impact: how to find and pass

If you don't use heroes that deal mostly Hydro and Anemo damage, you can quickly deal with outcast Hilichurls and Mitachurls. In general, this dungeon cannot be called difficult, so you should pass it without any problems even at the last stage.
