Moon Scales are a legendary item that can be found in the game Black Myth Wukong only in one copy. You can get it in a certain way, when passing the second chapter: “Yellow Sand, Warm Twilight”.

How to use Luna Scales
Scales are a key item that allows you to open locations to new unique bosses. Defeating them will give you the opportunity to create new weapons and get curiosities with various bonuses.
With the help of this unique key, you can open the following moons: Red, Black, Blue and Yellow. Below we told you where you can find them.
How to get Moon Scales in Black Myth Wukong
From the altar Valley of Despair in the location Sand Gate Village, turn into the nearest cave. When you reach a spacious room with a burning torch, immediately turn left and jump down. Turn to the rock from which you jumped, and in front of you will be a wall with bas-reliefs that you need to break. There you will also need to fight the boss – First Prince of the Flowing Sands.
How to break the wall and access the chest with Luna Scales
You can break the wall right during the fight with the boss. Lure him to the bas-relief and stand with your back to him. Wait for the enemy to accelerate and move away at the right moment so that the enemy, crashing into the wall, breaks it. You will be able to penetrate it only after the end of the fight.
If you have already killed the First Prince or failed to break the wall with his help, you can break through it in two more ways. Here, the spell Azure Dust or Wandering Wraith Skill will help you.
As soon as the wall is destroyed, you will be able to penetrate the cache, where you will find rare Moon Scales in a golden chest.
How to unlock all secret bosses
Where to find Red Moon
To find and kill the first boss, return to the first chapter, the location Wolf Forest, the altar Forest Outside. From the altar, go forward and turn left at the first turn. Then turn right and move forward. At the stone pillar with writing, turn onto the path leading down to the river.
Cross the river, turn left at the next stone pillar, and move forward until you come out into the lake with the desired waterfall.
Using the previously found Luna Scales, interact with the waterfall. The seal will be removed and you will be able to go to a hidden location where you will need to fight the first boss of the yaoguai – Red Moon.
Along with the materials, you will obtain a rare curiosity Boshan Incense Burner, which greatly reduces damage if the bottle is empty.
Where to find Black Moon
The next unique boss can be found very close to the save Stone Plain in the location Rock of Fear. Climb the stairs to the very top, where you will immediately see a sand waterfall. Similar to the previous waterfall, open the passage with the help of Scales and fight the Black Moon.
After defeating him, you will receive the Tridacna Talisman curiosity, which slightly reduces the cooldown of spells.
Where to find Blue Moon
The next enemy will only be available in the third chapter: in the Bitter Lake location, at the incense Turtle Island. From this point, move left and down, as shown in the screenshots. Below you will be waiting for the dragon Blue Moon. Fight him and be sure to take the necessary materials from the golden chest.

And the last, most difficult boss of this small “quest” is Yellow Moon. It can be found near the altar of Dead Moon's Ravine in the fourth chapter.
You can get to this place from the incense altar Oblivion Rock in Spiderweb Pit. From this point, turn right as shown in the screenshots, run along the tunnel forward until you reach a wooden bridge. Jump off it and immediately turn right.
After walking forward a little, turn left and jump down next to the hanging bridge. Cross the bridge over the abyss and move forward along the location. In the distance, you can notice another small bridge with hanging enemies. To safely cross the bridge, activate invisibility.
Follow forward until you go outside. Turn left onto the stone path and go behind the tree to the right. Go forward through the location and, after climbing the steps, turn left. Next, go through the remains of a destroyed wooden bridge, where you can already see the desired altar from afar.
Activate it and go up the stone steps. At the top, in the gazebo, you will see the last Yellow Moon.
After defeating him, you will receive the Golden Carp curiosity, which increases the chance of materials dropping from enemies after killing them.
How to craft an epic and mythical staff
Only by killing these hidden bosses will you be able to obtain the necessary materials and open access to crafting a new unique weapon.
How to craft a Coiled Moon Staff
You can collect this epic staff by destroying the first two moons: Black and Red. The Coiled Moon Staff gives a medium bonus to all attacks in the pillar stance.
After defeating the Red Moon, take the Storm Tail material from the golden chest. And also, after the battle with the Black Moon, you will receive Storm Bone, which, together with the previous item, is needed to create the Coiled Moon Staff.
In total, the following materials are needed to create this staff:
- Thunder Tail (x1)
- Thunder Bone (x1)
- Refined Iron Sand (x4)
- Will: 21000
Golden Moon Staff
This mythical staff will be available for crafting after killing Blue Moon, but you will be able to get all the materials only in the fourth chapter after killing the last boss.
This staff already gives a good bonus to all attacks in the pillar stance, and its powerful attacks, requiring 3-4 OK, can summon the moon, which will attack enemies with lightning.
Important: in order to open the ability to create a staff with the Golden Moon, you must kill all the previous secret bosses.
You will receive the Trembling Claw of the Mountains by opening the golden chest after defeating the Blue Moon. The remaining materials – Tennis of Great Power and Steel from Mount Kun – can be collected after the battle with the last yaoguai.
