In Honkai: Star Rail, “Mysterious Rite” is a hidden quest on the Planet of Three Paths, part of the “Amphoreus Chronicles” quest line, which begins with finding a strange manuscript describing a summoning rite for the glory of the titan mind. The Nameless One will have to find all the resources for the ritual, and then perform the summoning and find out why the great tree no longer bears golden fruits.

Walkthrough of the Mysterious Rite quest in HSR
You can start this quest if you:
- Unlocked the Ohema location;
- Completed the quest “Oh Silver Chariot, Rush to the Dark Lands”, part of the main storyline “Tales of the Flame-Chasing Heroes”.
After completing the above conditions, move to the Damionis mark in the courtyard in the south of the Marble Palace, and then go to the path leading towards the library: on the right side on the paving stones you will see a round maroon pillow with a question mark – if, when examining it, you select the answers with the arrow “It's strange…” and “Trying is not torture!“, you will begin the quest.
Find materials for the ritual
Having decided to conduct the ritual, you will add the book “ to the archiveScroll of Mysterious Rites», describing the entire sequence of the ritual, as well as hints on suitable resources associated with the titans Fagusa, Kerkes and Georios. The sensor skill on “R” will appear on the interface, and when approaching the desired location, a hint will pop up. All three materials can be found in the places indicated on the map below:
Examine the brown wicker basketbehind the shop near the Holy Flame in the northern half of the search area to find black soil and seeds, and then a large crate in the dead end to the left of Damionis – it contains wine.
Perform the ritual under the ancient tree
Now you need to complete the summoning: teleport to the Garden of Lifein the north, 2 tiers of the palace, go to the flickering quest mark on the roots for the revelation scroll “Library of Life” and bring all the mysterious items to the Kerkes tree.
Examine the memories recorded by the fragment
After a short dizziness, a fragment of a memory will appear- Activate this purple crystal and delve into the memories of the tree, then listen to the pleas of the projections of the three followers of the titan of reason. From the words of the believers, it can be understood that the tree has not answered their prayers for quite some time, and the gifts of Kerkes have stopped appearing after countless rituals.
When all the remnants of memories from the ritual disappear, you will receive your reward for completing the quest: 10 star jades, 5 thousand credits, 2 Memory Shards, a couple of dishes and gold particles for upgrading relics, as well as 5 jades for collecting the issued achievement.
Achievement Barren Tree in HSR
The secret achievement “Barren Tree” will be automatically received after completing the quest “Mysterious Rite”, and the reward for it can be collected in the collection “Our Memories” (+5 jades).
