In Genshin Impact, Natlan Luxurious Chests are a valuable acquisition, as they provide the opportunity to obtain Mora, Primogems, Pyro Seals, and valuable materials. They can be found while exploring the Pyro region, completing quests, completing trials, and solving riddles. In this guide, we will indicate the location of all these chests and tell you how to open them.
Where to find Luxurious Chests in Natlan
There are 25 Luxurious Chests to be found across the Pyro Kingdom as of patch 5.0. Only a few are in plain sight, with most hidden in hidden corners that can only be accessed by performing specific actions.
The map above shows the approximate locations of all Luxurious Chests in Natlan (including those hidden in the Tombs of the Deep). We'll take a closer look at how to obtain them below.
Luxurious Chest 1
- Area: Ancestral Temple (East)
Travel to the northeastern teleporter of the indicated location, then go a little to the east and jump off the edge of the cliff onto the slope below. Move along it in an easterly direction until you reach a huge crater ahead. Near the hole you will find a boy giving the quest “May the Star Grant a Wish”, but you do not have to start it.

Jump down and behind the large, broken crescent moon you'll find a Luxurious Chest – simply interact with it to loot its contents.
Luxurious Chest 2
- Area: Tequemekán Valley
First, you'll need to take on the quest “Prepared for Trouble” (if you've already completed it, you can skip to the paragraph with the teleporter). Pick up the Green-Edged Leaflet near the teleporter at the Kron Scions tribe, then travel to the waypoint south of the Sulfur Veins and next to the huge tree with turquoise branches.
Move towards the tree, and soon you will see an exclamation mark on the mini-map. Jump into the crevice below and approach the unfamiliar girl. A cut-scene will immediately start, and you will begin the task. Complete it to unlock all areas of the dungeon.
If you didn't pick up the Luxurious Chest during the quest, then move to the teleporter. Then jump down into the large area and glide to the cave entrance on the left side. Start going deeper into it until you find yourself in a cave flooded with water.

Turn into a Yumkasaurus using the green transformation stone. You can still pull the hooks to summon platforms and jump on them, or simply use the Saurian skill. Get to the other side. The gif below shows how to do it.
Then go up the stairs and turn right. Go to the edge of the platform and you will see an orange platform below. Jump onto it, then grab the flame grenade near the wall and throw it at the red-veined block to destroy it and reveal a hook. Pull it to make the platform rise.
Once at the top, walk forward along the wooden platform and you will see a luxurious chest here. Its exact location is shown in the images below.
Luxurious Chest 3
- Area: Tequemecán Valley
You will be able to get it at the end of the quest “Revelations of the Past”. Several chests, including the luxurious one, will appear in Paradise.
Luxurious Chest 4
- Area: Sulfur Veins
Teleport to the plateau in the specified location and immediately turn around. You will see a high cliff ahead, which you will need to climb. We advise you to take Kachina into your squad, and then fly to the cliff and immediately switch to the heroine to climb up with her drill. At the top of the mountain, you will find a chest.
Luxurious Chest 5
- Area: Sulfur Veins
From the previous chest, turn east and you should see another cliff ahead with a locked chest. Glide to it. If you couldn't reach the top, then simply switch to Kachina again to climb up. Here you will find the Luxurious, Precious, and Rich Chests.
To unlock them, go to the bowl near the stone and place 1 ash plant on it. By the way, several of these plants grow on the nearby cliff (see screenshot below). Then start completing combat trials. You'll be fighting Pyro Slimes, Mitachurls, and Pyro Void Mages, so we don't recommend taking fire damage dealers to this fight.
Luxurious Chest 6
- Area: Sulfur Veins
Complete quest “May the Sleepers Rest in Peace” from the “Shadows of the Mountains” chain, and at the end you will be able to get a new chest.
Luxurious Chest 7
- Area: Huitztli Hill
To obtain it, you will need to solve the riddle with the monolith and three buried in the north of Huitztli Hill. We have detailed this in a separate guide.
Luxurious Chest 8
- Region: Huitzli Hill
To obtain it, you will need to solve a riddle with a secret cave and three manitou southeast of Huitztli Hill. We've covered this in detail in a separate guide.
Luxurious Chest 9
- Area: Sacred Flame Stadium
Travel to the southern teleporter of the location, and then start climbing up, and on the highest tower you will find a chest. We advise you to use Kachina, as she will quickly take you to the top on her storm.

Luxurious Chest 10
- Area: Sacred Flame Stadium
To obtain it, you will need to solve the manitou puzzle in the Spirit Cave, located south of the stadium. We have detailed this in a separate guide.
Luxurious Chest 11
- Region: Overworlds
First, complete the quest “The Seeker Does Not Find” to get to the floating islands in the Waters of Ameyalco. There is a high chance that you will find this Luxurious Chest while completing it. If you missed it, then move to the teleporter shown in the pictures below, and then go forward through the islands to the very end.
Here you will find a transformation stone for Koholasaurus. As a Saurian, walk back a bit to the pool and use the spirit path to fly up. When you fly over the island on the right, return to your normal form (press “Q”) and glide to the island to pick up the Luxurious Chest.
Luxurious Chest 12
- Region: Upper Realms
You will be able to get it at the end of the quest “The Seeker Does Not Find”, when you reach the last floating island. The pictures below show the exact location of the chest. Note that if you missed it, you can get to the island later using the same spiritual paths.
Luxurious Chest 13
- Area: Wellspring Folk
To obtain it, you will need to solve the riddle with the manitou on the island located south of the Wellspring Folk settlement. We have detailed this in a separate guide.
Luxurious Chest 14
- Area: Firethief's Secret Island
To obtain it, you will need to complete several trials with the Saurians on the Secret Island of the Fire Thief, located in the southeastern part of the region. We have detailed this in a separate guide.
Luxurious Chest 15
- Area: Huitzli Hill
To obtain it, you will need to collect four Rainbow Inscription Fragments, and then give them to Researcher Chuno at the foot of the hill, who will reward you with a luxurious chest.
Luxurious Chest 16
- Area: Tetikpak Peak
To get it, you will first need to collect 6 broken stones with graffiti, and then take them to a special cave to restore the drawing and open the passage to the secret area. Here you will have to solve a small puzzle with a manitou. As a result, you will unlock a luxurious chest. We have written a separate guide for more details.
Luxurious Chest 17
- Area: Phlogiston Mining Research Facility
You will need to infiltrate the Fatui Secret Complex located in the southeastern part of Natlan and turn off the huge machine there by completing several puzzles. In a separate guide, we have described in detail how to do this.
Luxurious Chest 18-19
- Area: Sacred Flame Stadium
You can get both chests by completing the fight in the Chamber of Night's Trials. We described how to get to this location and how to defeat all the spirits in a separate guide.
Luxurious Chest 20
- Area: Tetikpak Peak
To get it, you will need to give a character named Quispy various ores for 3 real days. On the 4th day, you will unlock a secret passage to the cave where the chest is located. We talked about this in more detail in a separate guide.

Luxurious Chest 21
- Area: Tetikpak Peak
This is a fake Luxurious Chest, which is also marked on the general map. It is connected to the world quest “Deception and Promises”. Inside, you will find only a note.
