In Honkai: Star RailO Guest from Afar, Hear the Prayers of This World is a Development mission and part of the Tales of the Flame-Chasing Heroes quest chain, which will take you to the eternal city of Ohema. You will also have to deal with rumors about the Celestial Maiden and be interrogated by Aglaya by answering four questions correctly. How to Start the Quest
It starts automatically immediately after completing the previous quest in the chain called “Oh Silver Chariot, Rush to the Dark Lands”. So just open your journal, find the corresponding mission and start tracking it. If this does not happen, then try logging out of your account, wait 20-30 minutes and log back in.
Follow Aglaya
Follow Aglaya to the bathhouse – just go to the marker. After talking to the blonde, enter the water and go to the fountain to listen to the spirits about Amphoreus's past. You can stop listening to the myths at any time – this will not affect the rewards or the ending of the quest.
Then interact with the spirit again, which will change the style of the narrative. After listening to the story, go up to the waterfall to continue the conversation with Aglaya. Get on the lift and go up to the special area for heroes. Go to the table and start doing what the girl asks you to do. You can choose any answers – this will only slightly change the dialogues (Aglaya will only say that you resist because of stubbornness).
Aglaya will ask you to promise her that you will not tell the people of Okhema about the existence of other worlds. You cannot refuse. Then teleport down and talk to Dan Heng.
Go to the Marble Fair and Explore the City
Next, head to the Marble Fair by going southwest and passing through the waterfalls. Go to the next secret path device and interact with it. Then start moving your mouse to the left to assemble the correct pattern and move to another part of the location, as shown in the gif below.
Go to the quest marker and talk to the people. You will see a broken column that you will be asked to fix. Tribby will come up and advise you to use the Prayer of Oronis. Then press the “Space” key as instructed, and hold it down to rewind time.
After finishing the conversation, go up the stairs to the roof and chat with Damionis. He will take a photo of you in front of the statue of Kephalus. Then he will ask if you are from another world. Choose any answers, as Dan Heng will cover you in any case.
Go down again and head to the next marker to the east. Here you will find Faenon talking to Hartonus. After talking to them, continue heading east, opening up new areas of Ochema. Approach Kastoria, standing next to the Geosaurs. She will offer to feed the creatures. Approach the feeder with red soil and interact with it.
Next, go to the Geosaurus and give it the food. You can eat the food yourself, which will leave you with a strong bitter taste in your mouth and make the girl laugh, but it will not affect the rewards or the ending of the quest. Plus, you can still feed the dinosaur later. Then pet it (it will like it more if you rub it hard). Kastoria will take a photo of you next to the Geosaurus, and then leave.
Continue exploring Okhema (optional)
Tribby will contact you and offer to return to the Marble Palace, but you can explore other places if you wish – you will not receive any additional rewards, but you will be able to better understand the lore of Amphoraeus. First, you can go south from the meeting place with Kastoria and approach the mosaic on the wall.
Now move east, climbing the stairs, and remove the fallen column using the Oronis prayer (hold the “Space” key). You will receive a memory shard as a reward. Then talk to the poet playing the lyre and sitting on the railing.
Walk north a little further, back to the market, and turn the camera to the right to see Faenon standing near a stall. He will be telling the shopkeeper that her family heirlooms are actually fakes. After listening to the argument, you will complete your inspection of Ohema.
You can warp to the Marble Palace anchor in the northeast. After that, a cutscene will immediately start. Chat with the townspeople discussing the forum. You will understand that Damionis has started spreading information about other worlds and March 7. You need to find him quickly before the situation gets out of control.
Find out Damionis's Whereabouts
Travel to the Anchor of the Bowl of Plenty, then talk to the Romantic Citizen, the Uninhibited Citizen, and the Intelligent Citizen standing in the water. You will then find that Damionis has climbed to the very top of the bathhouse. Use the lift to reach the Bowl of Heroes.
You will see that someone is chasing Damionis – catch up with him. To do this, go to the Gardens of Life. A new cutscene will begin. Then go to the guy and chat with him. You can choose any answers, since you will still tell him that other worlds exist. After that, the guards will take him away.
Find the lion of truth and try to calm the storm
To hush up this matter, you will need to talk to a certain lion of truth. Run to the wall marked with a marker. You will find a Golden Butterfly sitting on a mannequin here – talk to it. This will reveal your first nymph (if you haven't found them before). Then get on the lift and go down.
Continue following the marker and along the way you will see Trinnona talking to a merchant. Turn left and go through the doors that open. Once inside, run further until you see a lion's head at the end of the corridor – interact with it. You will need to decide how to talk to him. Even if you want to hit him with a bat, you will still have to stick your hand in him in the end.
Midey will help you persuade the Lion of Truth to stop spreading rumors about the Celestial Maiden. Now go further down the corridor and meet Tribby in a spacious hall. Run with her to Aglaya, who will be waiting for you in the southeastern part of the location. On the way, go to the gazebo and look at the Gate of Infinity. Next, go to the room in the northeast and enter into a dialogue with the seamstress Ohema.
Follow Aglaya to your personal bathhouse. Inspect the three points of interest in your room. You can choose any answers. Then enter the Vortex of Creation using the bowl, watching a short cutscene. Aglaya will immediately bind you and Kastoria will appear.
How to pass Aglaya's interrogation
Because the Pathfinder failed to keep his promise, Aglaya will want to know his true intentions by asking 4 questions. Each incorrect answer (lie) will cause Kastoria to take one step towards you. If she manages to take 3 or 4 steps, an execution will be carried out, so you need to answer at least 2 questions correctly.
- Question 1: “Why did we come to Amphoraeus?” The correct answer is: “So that our journey could continue.”
- Question 2: “Why did we offer a helping hand to Ohema?” The correct answer is: “So that our journey could continue.”
- Question 3: “Shall we draw our blades against Ohema?” Correct answer: “I… cannot promise anything.”
- Question 4: “There is a raging power within you… Shall we use it against the gods?” Correct answer: “No. I cannot agree.”
Important: Even if you answer all the questions incorrectly, Faenon will appear right before the execution and dissuade Kastoria and Aglaya from killing us. In general, it will be impossible to die here.
If you can pass the test (even in case of 1-2 mistakes), Aglaya will agree to continue cooperation, but Dan Heng will be against such conditions, but Faenon will eventually appear and will be able to convince you to stay without any additional demands. This will end the mission.
As a reward, you will receive 1200 Mastery Points, 150 Star Jades, 10 Traveler's Guides, 10 Lost Crystals, 160 thousand credits, 240 units of Celestial Ambrosia, and a music record. Plus, you will have access to the next quest “Oh Night Stars, Don't Forsake Me During the Long Night.”
