In Honkai: Star Rail (HSR)O Hero, Meet the Dawn as a Mortal is an exploration mission and part of the Become Yesterday's Tomorrow questline. As part of it, you will have to get to the birthplace of the Steel Crypt by solving a couple of puzzles involving collecting wishes and destroying crystals of despair. Completing the mission “O hero, meet the dawn in the guise of a mortal” in HCP
How to start the task
It starts automatically immediately after completing the previous mission in the chain called “The Witch's Painstaking Research.” If this does not happen, then try logging out of your account, wait 20-30 minutes and re-login. You will once again take control of the Pathfinder and, together with your friends, will be able to enter the Ruins of Time of the Coast of Buried Memories, where the Steel Crypt is located.
Collect the last titans
Start moving forward towards the quest markers, meeting old friends along the way. First you will meet Midea. After talking with him, the battle with the black current monsters will begin – their vulnerabilities are demonstrated in the screenshots below. You can also call on Midea for help by clicking on the corresponding button on the screen.
Having dealt with the enemies and received the ring, run forward and talk to Tsifer, receiving a coin from her. Continue forward and use the secret path to cross to the other side. Here you will meet Kastoria – chat with her and receive a flower. Approach the ball and try to move it, but nothing will work. March 7 will then activate a buff that will affect the entire location. Now you can move the sphere without any problems.
Get on the lift and go down. Continue to the next quest marker and you will meet Hyacine here. Talk to her and get the box. Next, go downstairs and go through the door. Use another elevator to get to the -3rd floor. Then go into the huge hall with the 3D map and go to the purple crystal to talk with Anaxa.
Collect three wishes
Next, you will find a multi-stage puzzle – World Support Test 1 – in which you need to find three crystals and re-sculpt them. To do this, you will need to move from consecrated areas to dark ones and back. So, first of all, touch the crystal to start the puzzle.
Immediately turn around and run forward along the broken bridge (it will be restored) to the edge of the area to immediately move to the other side behind the wooden boxes. A slab of prophecy will appear in front of you – interact with it to begin solving the riddle.
Everything is quite simple here – take the top inverted triangle and place it in the lower right part of the diamond. Then grab the bottom triangle and place it on the top right side of the diamond. The complete solution to the puzzle is shown in the gif below.
This way you will remove the boxes and be able to get to the first wish, ultimately increasing the radius light area. Go back to the broken bridge, but now turn left and start climbing up, and then cross the border and you will find yourself next tosecond wish.
Turn around, turn left and run to the lift, and then use it to go down. Return to the crystal and start running forward, creating a path in front of you and going up the steps to thethird wish. Touch the main crystal again – Anaxa will join your group.
Keep collecting the last titans
Now get on the lift and go down. Continue following the quest marker until you meet Keridra and Gisilensa. After talking with them, go further, stand on the flower and go upstairs, where you will meet the Tribby sisters. Study the scrolls of Phaenon, and then say goodbye to the girls.
Break the three parts of despair
Continue forward and use the platform to get to the other side. Go into the building with the 3D map and go to the crystal ahead again and click on it to start the second World Support Trial. This time you will need to crush the stones on the contrary to reduce the radius of the light area.
Turn around and walk across the border to end up on the other side, then turn left, go up the steps and cross the next border. Eventually you will reach the first crystal of despair, which must be destroyed.
Turn around again and walk across the border between the areas. Once on the other side, turn left, go down and go through the second border, and you will immediately see thesecond stone of despairin front of you. Next, turn right and approach the prophecy slab, taking on the task of solving it.
The solution to this puzzle is simple – you need to place the top inverted triangle again in the lower left part of the diamond, and the bottom triangle in the left right part of the diamond. The entire process is shown in the gif below. This will remove the boxes blocking your path.
Get to the third crystal of despairand destroy it by completely removing light from the room. Interact with the main crystal again to obtain the second piece of the World Support Seal. Use the lift in the center to go down, and then go through the door.
Run forward to the next marker and get to the bowl of spirits, and then watch the short cutscene and meet Aglaya, Phaenon and Tribby. Then talk to Cyrene and tell her that you are ready. Next you will have a battle with a boss who has ice, electric and quantum vulnerability, so take the appropriate team or damage dealers who can penetrate any element.
How to defeat the Anti-Creator, Overwhelming Hatred
You can also assemble a team of trial characters. We advise you to take Kastoria (main damage dealer), Temen (sub damage dealer and support), Cyrene (mandatory support) and Hyacina (healer). With this ritual you will be able to get through the next battle without any problems. Once in a new location, run forward and awaken Phaenon.
First you will need to deal with Kaoslana to destroy his vessel and find the true form of the Steel Crypt. Just attack him with all your characters, sometimes being distracted by dialogue with Phaenon. Then watch an epic cutscene featuring the birth of the Ravager Lord and the arrival of your allies. After this, a full-fledged boss battle will begin.
In the upper right corner you will see a hatred accumulation scale – if it is completely filled (increases during Steelcrypt attacks), the battle will be lost. At this stage, you just need to hit the enemy and not let your characters die. When the bar reaches approximately 40% and one of your characters is pinned, a new cutscene will begin. At this point, use Cyrene's special ability to reduce the hatred and deal significant damage to the boss. Plus, you can free your ally from the shackles.
Continue to attack the boss. Activate Cyrene's ultimate as quickly as possible, and then buff your allies. Use your special ability again to deal critical damage to your opponent and send him into the second phase. In it, the basis of the battle will not change – you will still need to monitor the hatred scale, not allowing it to fill completely.
The Anti-Creator will begin to use more powerful attacks that will hit the area and accumulate more hatred, so try to use healing abilities as often as possible and use a special technique to reduce the boss’s scale. When you remove the second health bar, the enemy will not be defeated, but will immediately be reborn. In this state, you will not be able to damage him.
Next, start watching long cut scenes. You can choose any answers during these scenes, as they will not affect anything. At the end you will find yourself in the world of Cyrene. This will bring the task to an end. The next quest in the chain, entitled “O Pages Carved in Rippled Memories,” begins.
