In Honkai: Star Rail, O Silver Chariot, Ride to the Dark Lands is a Reclamation mission and part of the Tales of the Flame-Chasing Heroes quest chain, in which you can finally get to Amphoreus. Here you will have to defeat the offspring of the titan of discord, solve the puzzle with the secret path and defeat the Wild God, the mad king, the embodiment of discord. How to Start the Quest
Before you can take on this mission, you must meet several conditions, which include:
- Reach at least Mastery Level 34 (or 24 if you used the Vision of Completion function).
- Complete the Mastery mission called “Silence of the Galaxy” in the “Under the Burning Sun of Dawn” chain.
- Complete the exploration mission “And on the Eighth Day He Set Out” on Penakonia.
Note that the last mission is not necessary at all, as you can use the “Vision of Completion” option and take on the Amphoraeus arc immediately after Yarilo-VI. However, it is still not recommended to do this, as the logical structure of the plot may fall apart. If you have been going through the main story gradually, then the new chapter should start automatically – just look in your journal and start tracking the starting mission.
Before that, you will also receive a message on your smartphone in the general chat “Star Express Family”, where Pom-Pom will invite you to the General Car. Teleport to the specified location and talk to your friends. You will need to decide where to go next – regardless of your answers, Amphoreus will be chosen.
Talk to your comrades and pack your luggage
After the meeting, you will need to pack your things and be ready to jump, but before that, you can chat with your friends – doing this is optional, so your reward and the ending of the quest will not change in any way if you skip these dialogues. But just in case, we will mark the locations of all the characters you can talk to:
- Himeko and Welt will be in the General Car.
- Dan Heng and March 7 will be in the Sleeping Car.
- Black Swan and Sunday will be in the Party Car.
Then go up to your room by interacting with the spiral staircase in the Party Car. You will automatically collect your backpack. In the same location, sit on the couch and wait for the jump. Watch a short video.
After another conversation with your friends, head to Mart 7's cabin to check on her. The girl will feel very tired after the jump. Deciding to leave her to rest, talk to your comrades again. Then return to the General Carriage and ask Himeko about the backup plan. It will be decided to send you and Dan Heng to Amphoraeus in the detached car.
Find the source of the strange noise and take a couple of pictures
After landing on the planet, the first thing you need to do is bring Dan Heng to his senses. You can choose any answers, as they only slightly change the dialogue. You will try to contact the express, but nothing will happen. After finishing the conversation, go through the door and approach the pink creature, which will fly away from you.
Approach the fallen column, which will immediately disappear, and move forward following the marker, watching the memories change. Open another door and approach the stairs to start a new conversation with Dan Heng. Then go up and go to the next quest marker along the only path.
After climbing the platform, go to its edge and start taking pictures of the impressive landscape. Make sure that the giant sphere is in the frame. Then take a photo of the gate on the other side of the cliff. After that, enemies will attack you.
How to defeat the Titan Scions
We are talking about completely new enemies that have Battle armor, which collapses after a certain number of attacks. After the armor is destroyed, the enemy takes damage and its effect is delayed, and the character who attacked him restores energy and deals additional damage. After the mob's turn ends, its Combat Armor is fully restored.
The number of Combat Armor stacks is shown as numbers next to the red icon. It is recommended that you start with the Rage Choirmaster, as he has the least armor points. Continue to destroy enemies in the 2nd and 3rd waves. Their vulnerabilities are demonstrated in the pictures below. In the 3rd wave, a stranger will come to your aid.
You will meet Tribby and Faenon. You can choose any answers, as they will only slightly change the dialogues. After the conversation, go to the temple to find out the reason for the conflict. Then talk to Tribby and watch a short video with the transformation of the entire location. Follow the girl and do not go too far from her.
Catch up with Noldus in the depths of the temple and fight the enemies
Go through a couple of doors and catch up with the refugees, after which a new battle with the Titan offspring will immediately begin. As in the previous battle, first deal with the enemy with the least amount of armor. Their vulnerabilities are shown in the picture below.
After dealing with the enemies, listen to Tribby's ballad about the creation of the world. Then the Geosaurs will arrive. Ride one of them to go to Ohema. Watch a spectacular cutscene in which you will see that the holy city is under attack. Engage in combat with two waves of enemies (their vulnerabilities are shown below).
Lend a helping hand to the city and help Phaenon defeat enemies
After destroying the enemies, talk to Dan Heng, then take control of Tribby and follow the on-screen instructions to remove the obstacle from the road by rewinding time. Listen to the new conversation. Then run to the people ahead and engage in another battle with the servants of Nicador.
After dealing with the enemies, meet the other two incarnations of Tribby. Then run to the next quest marker, climbing up. Along the way, deal with the enemies or simply avoid them. At the top, frightened villagers are waiting for you. Climb even higher up the stairs and watch a new video with the appearance of Midei.
Then another fight with the minions of Nicador will begin (their vulnerabilities are shown below). When you deal with all the enemies, chat with the “friendly” guy, and then move on, following the sign. At the top, you will find Kastoria. Start following the girl who will pacify enemies with her presence alone.
How to defeat the Vanguard of Fury
Next, you will face a battle with an elite enemy, the Vanguard of Fury, who has 6 points of Combat Armor at once, so it will be more difficult to destroy. He is able to summon warriors of fury, and then absorb them to increase his own strength and inflict gigantic damage to your characters. The more of his soldiers he absorbs, the stronger his blow will be.
For this reason, we advise you to either break through his durability as quickly as possible, or try to quickly destroy the Fury Warriors in the arena so that he does not have time to absorb them. So in this battle, both area attackers and single-target attackers will be useful.
Go to the Marble Palace
After destroying the Vanguard of Fury and talking to Kastoria, go to the mechanism in front and use the secret path. To do this, you will need to solve a small puzzle. Rotate the mouse left or right to assemble a solid picture from color dots. Specifically, in this puzzle, you need to move the picture to the left, as shown in the gif below.
Fight Nicador Spear of Fury
This will take you to the other side. Run forward to the waterfall and enter the temple. Move on to the next marker, then watch the cutscene with the mad titan appearing and engage him in battle.
The boss battle “Wild God, Mad King, Embodiment of Discord” will begin, which has 7 points of Combat Armor at once, so you will take it off longer than ordinary enemies. The enemy's main ability is “Eternal Calamity”, when used, it deals imaginary damage to your characters and applies the “Glory” status to them, and he himself receives the effect of Titan Body.
Each level of this status increases the damage your heroes deal and the speed at which they regenerate energy. Using their skills or ults adds stacks of Glory. They are removed with the boss's next action. For this reason, you need to have time to knock down the enemy's tenacity before this moment. The fact is that with the Titan's Body buff, Nikador deals gigantic damage with his next attack and can impose Conclusion on the target.
Thus, the best characters to fight this god will be those with high speed or using bonus attacks. However, with proper pumping and matching vulnerabilities, any balanced teams can cope with him.
Fortunately, this is not the titan Nikador himself, but only one of his shells, so he will be weaker. When you lower the boss's health to about 5%, a new cutscene will begin with the appearance of Aglaya. Talk to her. This will end the quest.
