The Obsolete Hills in Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) is one of the areas of the Lemnos cavern available for exploration. As you run along it, you will find mini-trucks, some of which are protected by the thickets of the square or multi-layered energy shields, as well as puzzles with setting up etheric coherence. Devastating them will reward you with polychromes and materials for developing agents, as well as several achievements.
In this guide, we will show the exact location of all the mini-trucks, and also tell you how to collect all the rewards and clear the map 100%.
The Obsolete Hills in ZZZ: how to get into the cavern and collect all the rewards
Access to the map opens after completing the quest “Someone Half Asleep”, which is included in the plot of patch 2.3 – “Unforgotten dreams of the past.”
In the Obsolete Hills you can stumble upon 22 rewards, most of which are stored in mechanical boxes. Before searching for trucks, be sure to activate the 2 visual singularities marked on the map (eye icons in the west and east of the cavern), allowing you to see ≈95% of the available activities. Below we will go through each individual place in detail.
[1] Mini Truck
Let's start with the outermost teleport in the west of the cavern – opposite it there are two stacks of boxes and steel bolts, behind which the first truck is hidden (objects are destructible).

As you move east from the starting area, you will come across one Ethereal guarding a regular reward box.
[3] Mini Truck
After picking up the previous loot, run north – there is a wall of fel thickets on the way, to destroy which you need to blow up three small and one large tumors:
- The first is on the fallen fence on the left;
- The second is on the ruins of the tower on the right;
- And the third is inspected by one of the Jubilant on the rise around the bend;
Having finished with the small ones, return to the obstacle and blow up the main hearth by aiming the skill (R) at the core and pressing Decay (F) a couple of times.
Behind the disappeared bushes you will find one purple mini-truck.
[4] Mini-truck [Serious Veteran 1]
While collecting the 2nd mini-truck, you might have noticed a couple of ethereals shooting at the road from the bridge – you can meet them on the way to the 4th trophy (it will be to the right of the railway, at the end of the selected direction).
After destroying the ethereals on the bridge, you will meet Serious Veteran, and then you can meet him a couple more times and get hidden mini-trucks (they appear sequentially: first 5th, then 17th).
[5-8] Mini-truck [Fel Space]
After running east from the previous reward, you will find yourself in the Corrupted Space (Crossroads teleport). Here you need to destroy 3 small tumors that support the defiled shield on the enemy in the center of the location, thereby reducing the defense by 95%. Each of them is located near the nearest mini-trucks, so we will loot everything in parallel.
[5] Mini-truck [Serious Veteran 2]
After going north from the intersection, you will come to a dead end and can remove one tumor. If you defeated the Ethereals on the bridge before the 4th reward, there will be a 2nd encounter with a Serious Veteran at this location: talk to him, and then fight together and pick up one regular trophy.
[6] Mini Truck
The next source that feeds the desecrated shield is located west of the main enemy in the center of the area. Use your R skill to destroy the vines (you can do this if the decay areas are one after another in front of your crosshair), and then go forward and take the chest, and also blow up the tumor.

The last clump is located behind the bridge before the southern exit from the Fel Space, and here is the 7th truck.
[8] Mini-truck [enemy leader]
With the shield's strength reduced as much as possible, return to the enemy in the center of the area and defeat him so that you can empty the golden mini-truck.
[9] Mini Truck
From the Fel Expanse, head up the southeast hills, in the process emptying the reward box hidden behind the boxes on the right side of the path.
[10] Mini Truck
The path from the previous reward will lead you to another chest blocked by a thicket of filth.
First of all, activate the Aether Consolidation Panel on the left side and move the platform to the right, thereby opening access to one of the tumors (you need it destroy).
Then go to the main source of corruption, fight the monsters and destroy the small clot on the wall on the right, and then the largest one on the left – access to the truck is open.

Continue north, and when you see a tree, turn right. Use the R skill to go through the container and pick up the normal chest from the trash can.
[12] Mini-Truck [Peulogy of the Jubilant]
Continuing to explore the road behind the container, you will find yourself in an area of darkness created by the Panegyrist of the Jubilant – run across the area to the left, go down the stairs and destroy the summoner, otherwise the monsters will appear again and again.

Get rid of the fel crystals standing in the passage opposite the battle with the Panegyrist, go down below and pick up one pink truck.
[14] Mini-truck
Going even lower, you will find yourself on an area with several ethereals guarding a regular trophy – defeat them to empty the truck.
[15] Mini-truck
Then run northwest from where you got the last loot. This will take you to a dead-end alley where a pair of strong Ethereals await, protecting the contents of a golden mini-truck.
[16] Mini-truck
Move to the teleport “Ostirred Hills (north)”, and then go down to the south – there is another barrier of scarlet crystals, to destroy which you need to destroy 3 small clumps and defeat the nearest enemies (they are marked on the 2nd screenshot above). You can collect the reward after you defeat the mimic who was pretending to be a golden truck.
[17] Mini Truck [Serious Veteran 3]
Having finished with the last battle, go up to the west: if you completed the encounters with the Serious Veteran at the 4th and 5th trophies, you will see him here again. Talk to the warrior, defeat the defiled troops together with him and receive a golden truck and the achievement “Time does not spare” for your activity.
[18] Mini-truck
Now move to the “Platform on the 2nd floor” (teleport in the east of the cavern) and run back to the south – there will be a dead end and piles of boxes, behind which there is another truck.
[19] Mini Truck
Return to the teleport – on the spacious area in front of it you will encounter a group of ethereals, after the battle with which a pink truck will become available.
[20] Mini-truck
Turn to the observation deck to the west – on the right side you will find one blue box with loot.
[21] Setting up etheric coherence
On the left side of the same observation deck (in the east of the 2nd floor of the map) there is a puzzle with Setting up Ethereal Coherence – activate the remote control to proceed with it and end up with a pink mini-truck.
Above shows the starting location of the lines (1 screenshot), as well as the final result (2 screenshots), which can be used as a hint for the solution.
[22] Multi-layer energy shield
The last chest on the map is located in the northeast: return to the place where you received the 19th reward, and then run left to the fel vines – behind them there is an area with a puzzle. You need to destroy two layers of the Energy Dome (green and purple).
First of all, let's get rid of the green shield: make visible the far left column with a green laser (manifestation on R), then go to the Aether Consolidation Paneland move the platform halfway to the rightuntil a green beam is reflected from the column on it.
Now let's remove the purple dome: make visible all the pillars on the right side of the site, as well as the one that was on the platform (by reflecting the green beam, it became intangible), then use the remote control to move the platform against the right edge of the tape.
The purple beam will reflect from all visible crystals and hit the shield, opening the way to the pink chest.
Note that the Aether Consolidation Panel in front of the energy shield controls 2 platforms: select the number 2 at the top of the screen (or press E), and then move the container to the left. Behind him is a researcher from TOP (we rescued her from a similar situation in the Old Apartment Complex) – talk to her to get the achievement “Good deeds…”.
All achievements for collecting mini-trucks on the “Ostirred Hills”
While collecting mini-trucks in the “Ostigated Hills” cavern, you can get 3 achievements:
- “Good deeds…” – awarded if you rescue a TOP researcher who is stuck behind the container at the place where you receive 22 trophies;
- “Time does not spare” – after a series of meetings you will receive help from a Serious Veteran (trucks 4, 5 and 17);
- “Where nature takes its toll” – are given for clearing a location to 100%.
For collecting each you will earn 5 polychromes (“Research” → “…in reconnaissance mode”).
