O Kremnos, Wash Away the Rust of Blood II in Honkai: Star Rail is a Mastering mission from the main story quest series “Tales of the Flame-Chasing Heroes”. How to start
The quest should appear in your journal after the previous quest, “Golden Cleansing”. If it doesn't, try logging out and logging back in after 20-30 minutes.
Use the sphere to destroy the obstacles
Teleport to the Conquest Lands spatial anchor and run south. Turn left and go up to the 3rd floor. There, destroy the pedestal with the stone ball on it so that it breaks the boxes below.
Go to Kremnos's Past
Go to the open passage and give Memo 3 Memory Fragments.

Explore the surroundings and find out what era you're in
You need to understand what time period you're in. To do this:
- Eavesdrop on the crowd's conversation;
- Read the lost scroll;
- Talk to the arms dealer. If you want, you can buy all 3 items from him, each of which will cost 5400 credits, but to continue the plot, it is enough to make one purchase. After examining Kastoria, you will find out that you were at the end of the Golden War, when Midei fled the city and Nicador fell asleep.
Submit an Application to Participate in the Competition
Go ahead and learn about the upcoming festival from Erinyes. Join the lone warrior and the three of you will participate in the trial.
Go to Kremnos
Enter the door behind Erinyes.
Light the Fire Vial (1)
Go forward and left and interact with the prophecy slab.
Solve the riddle by placing the fragments according to the screenshot below. The puzzle pieces on the right side of the picture are highlighted in a certain color, while their correct placement is shown on the left side. You can place the pieces in any order.

Head to the far right of the hall, erect a column with the Oronis prayer, climb the stairs and launch the icon case.
Go down and head to the southern part of the room, go to the upper floor and return the sphere to its place. Rotate its base once and attack it – the ball will fall on the boxes below.
Go down one floor and destroy the base of another stone so that it falls on the pedal. While you're at it, cleanse the corruption with the Titan's Mark to open the way to the door.
Go to the center of Kremnos
Enter the open door and run forward until you reach the next trial.
Remove Obstacles with the Hand of Zagreus
Learn how to use the Hand of Zagreus Strike. Then, remove three obstacles in the area using R to aim and LMB to dash. The piles of boxes that can be broken will be marked with a yellow glow.
Once the path is clear, move on, getting rid of enemies along the way.
Find Out Where the Strange Voice Is Coming From
Enter the next corridor and go forward until you meet the arms dealer you already know. Talk to him and convince Gneus to let him go.
Light the Fire Vial (2)
First, go forward and climb the left stairs.
Destroy the base of the ball so that it rolls down onto the pedal.
Now go to the book of wonders in the middle of the room and change day to night.
Activate both spheres one by one and direct their beams to the destroyed floor.
Walk along the restored surface to the stone ball and destroy its base.
Return to the Book of Wonders and change the night to day.
Turn the left sphere back on and aim the beam at the fallen ball so that it presses the pedal and the door opens.
Take the elevator down and go forward. Talk to the golden lion and move on.
Talk to the wandering ghost
Examine the lifeless body in front of you, then go down the stairs.
Follow the disembodied spirit and discover scenes from the past with talk about sealing the titan's soul and the insidious plan of King Euripon.
When you reach the cliff, use the Prophecy Plate and solve the riddle using the clues in the screenshot below.

Go further and talk to the restless soul one last time. Let Kastoria escort her to the world of the dead.
Go through the opened door and move on.
Engage the Vanguard of Fury. The enemy and his party's vulnerabilities are shown in the screenshot below. Try to use group attacks to quickly get rid of small mobs and prevent the Vanguard of Fury from absorbing them. Also, the sooner you destroy his Combat Armor (it takes 8 attacks), the faster you can deal massive damage to him.
You won't be able to achieve a final victory over the enemy, so Kastoria will have to hold him, and the further path will be blocked by the filth.
Change time and space with the Oronis miracle
Climb the stairs to your right and perform a miracle using the book. The filth will disappear, and you will find yourself in the present time, in the ruined city.
Go to the Soul Forging Platform
Go to the center of the platform and discuss with Gneus about restoring the titan's body.
Return the Soul Forging Statue to Its Place
In total, you will need to restore 4 broken statues associated with Nicador's virtues.
The First Statue
From the platform, go right and go down to the first statue. Use the Oronis Prayer to return the Sword of Courage to its place.
Second Statue
Go right to the next statue and try to use the prayer again.
The statue has no base, so you won't be able to return it to its place right away.
Launch Zagreus's hand using the device near you. Take the base of the statue and return it to its place.
Now the prayer will be successful, and the Sword of Honor will be returned to its place.
The Third Statue
Use Zagreus's Hand to build a bridge next to you. Climb up to the next device.
Use your hand and build a bridge leading to the next statue.
Go to it through the central platform and use the prayer. You will not be able to do this again, because the statue will be incomplete.
Go down the left passage and turn on the Miracle Orb.
Return to the statue and put the Sword of Tenacity back in place.
The Fourth Statue
Go to the right of the Sword of Perseverance and turn on the sphere.
Aim the beam at the broken bridge in front of you.
Go forward and activate the book.
Launch Zagreus' arm, lift the statue base on the nearby platform, and lower it into place.
Now you can use the prayer.
Use the book again, then turn on the nearby Orb of Miracles to illuminate the final Sacrifice Sword.
Now, while there is still an opportunity, we advise you to prepare your squad for the upcoming battle in advance. Try to choose heroes with mass attacks and powerful healers/shielders who have high resistance to effects and are able to remove debuffs from allies. Supports who can advance allies (Sunday, Sparkle) will be useful. Damage dealers with electric and quantum damage types will be most effective. Good options will be teams that play from bonus attacks and squads with Acheron.
Talk to Gneus in the center of the platform. He will reveal himself as one of the particles of Nikador's divinity and invite you to fight him.
Watch the epic cutscene in which a titan appears before you, and the rest of the Zlatiuses come to your aid. After that, the fight with the boss “The Giver, the Leader of the Legions, the Spear of Fury” will begin.
How to defeat Nikador
The first action the enemy takes will capture the souls of your squad members and create the corresponding creatures “Victory or Submission”. The presence of these creatures significantly increases the damage the squad receives and reduces health regeneration. In addition, in the second phase the boss can absorb them, strengthening himself. Try to use powerful group attacks to quickly destroy the phantoms and restore HP.
The boss also has Combat Armor, the destruction of which will increase the damage he receives. Complete destruction of the armor will significantly reduce the boss's HP, so try to save all the ultimates for its appearance.
After using Nikador's Eternal Calamity skill, your heroes will gain the Glory status. You can gain Glory stacks using skills or superpowers. By attacking the boss, allies will reduce the levels of the Titan Body status. If you manage to completely remove this status, Nikador will take massive damage and restore your energy.
Return to the bathhouse and rest
Once you are in Ochem again, go to your bathhouse in the eastern part of the city.
After talking to Memo, you will open “Thus Written by Me” – a book where you will write down the stories of the Zlatiuses . The mission will be completed.

After completing this part of the story, you will receive the following resources:

The first two achievements are awarded for traveling to the ancient city and overthrowing Nicador, respectively. Both of them belong to the “Path to the Stars” set and give 10 jade.
The last trophy given for obtaining the book “Thus Written by Me” belongs to the “Our Memories” set and gives 5 jade.
After completing the mission, you will be able to immediately proceed to the next one, “The Witch's Scientific Feast”.
