In Honkai: Star Rail, Old Roads, New Skills is a continuation mission of Exploration and part of the quest chain “Duel Under the Azure Sky I”. During this quest, you will have to return to Lofu Xianzhou and find Yanqing. You will also need to tell Pepeshi and Erudroid what sights they should see and fight some wolves. How to start the quest
Before you can take on the completion of this quest, you will need to meet a couple of conditions, namely:
- Reach at least level 21 of Mastery.
- Complete the story mission called “End of the Burial, Beginning of the Road” and puts an end to the main story of Lofu Xianzhou.
Note that thanks to the Vision of Completion function, this content will be available for preview, that is, completing the above task is not mandatory, but desirable, otherwise you will have many questions regarding the plot of the chain. Let us add that it should start automatically if all the requirements are met.
Move to the General Car, and then turn around and go to the table with the tablet – examine it. Choose any answers as they will not affect anything. Next, you will need to discuss the trip plan with the crew (Welt and Himeko) and March 7 and Dan Heng. All of them will be marked with markers.
What to advise Pepeshi and Erudroid
After watching the video, you will find yourself at the Central Harbor of the Star Skiff Haven. Run forward to the quest marker. Here you will meet Erudroid and Pepeshi. They are looking for landmarks. You can advise them on where to go:
- Aurumaton Alley – they will go to the specified location.
- Garden of Serenity – they will go to the specified location.
- Scaly Gorge – they will go to the specified location.
- Climb the Ambrosia Tree – at first they will think we are joking, but then they will decide that there is no reward without risk, so they will really want to climb the tree.
After talking with the guests from Penaconia, turn right and approach the awaiting Yanqing. Chat with him. You can choose any answers, as they will only slightly affect the dialogue. Then a cutscene starts with an attack by mysterious enemies.
Defeat all enemies
You will have to fight the Moon Devourer Wolf and two Blackclaw Wolves. Their vulnerabilities are shown in the image below. Note that all these enemies can enter the Lunar Ferocity state after gaining a certain number of Bloodlust levels (accumulates when attacking).
In this mode, the speed of monsters increases. The Devourer Wolf begins to restore its health, and the Blackclaw Wolf with an increased chance applies Bleeding. To remove this status from enemies, you need to quickly break through their vulnerabilities. We advise you to start with the Devourer Wolf so that it does not have time to restore its lives.
After dealing with the enemies, watch the rest of the cutscene, then chat with Yanqing, who is standing a little ahead, again. Then turn around and go back. You will hear an argument between a KMM employee and a cloud knight. Go further to the guards and talk to them.
This will end the quest. As a reward, you will receive 400 Mastery Points, 50 Star Jades, 4 Traveler's Guide, 4 Refined Ether, and 30,000 Credits. Plus, you will unlock access to the next quest called “Arrival of Nobles, False Intentions.”
