Into the Dry Winter Night in Honkai: Star Rail is an Exploration questline set on the planet Yarilo VI . As part of it, you have to explore a new world, fight with Armor and Cheetah, as well as solve several puzzles and defeat a lot of enemies. In this guide, we will tell you how to start and complete this quest.
How to start the quest “Into the Dry Winter Night”
It should start automatically immediately after you complete the “Yesterday Today Was Tomorrow” prologue. This states that your main character's Mastery level must be at least level 7.
Ice Adventure
The first short task of the chain. In the beginning, you will need to chat with Dan Heng and March 7 separately. Both characters are in the same train car as you, so it won't take long to find them.
< p>Next, talk to your friends again, after which you will go to the ice planet. Talk to your companions again. When the conversation ends, the mission will come to an end. As a reward, you will receive 200 development points, 8 travel encounters and 6000 credits.

Look for traces of civilization in the Snowy Fields
Go ahead, figure it out with level 9 enemies and check out the new activity, Sepal Leaf (Gold): Bud of Memory, which allows you to get materials while fighting monsters. You can pass the test or move on. You will encounter another level 9 enemy.
Go to the snowdrift and inspect it. A new cut-scene will begin, during which you will meet Sampo. Follow your new acquaintance until you encounter the Silvermane Guard. Get into a fight with them. We are talking about enemies of the 10th level with different vulnerabilities. They will attack in 2 waves and shouldn't cause you any problems.
How to beat the Cheetah
Then you will be attacked by a mini-boss surrounded by guards. The former is vulnerable to physical, electrical, and imaginary damage, while the latter is vulnerable to quantum and wind damage. So we advise you to take the characters of the corresponding elements.
We do not recommend that you use ice attacks against the Cheetah, as he is resistant to them. Therefore, if you have March 7 in the squad, use it mainly to apply shields to allies.
Fortunately, the battle with the enemy will end when his life bar approaches 35-45%, that is, you won’t have to completely finish him off . Then chat with the Cheetah. He will tell you about Belobog. After you get to the city and the cut-scene ends, and the task will come to an end.
Night in the city of everwinter
Follow the Cheetah Landau
Follow the captain of the guard while he tells you about the current situation in the city. After reaching the steps, talk to the Cheetah again. Then a long cutscene will start, during which you will meet Armor.
Visit the Nezimier workshop, Everwinter Monument and Goethe Hotel
First visit the first two locations. Near the monument you will find Pela (you can listen to her if you wish), and near the barrier you will be shown a short cut-scene.
You will see a Serval near the workshop. Talk to her and enter the building. Then solve a small puzzle with the Magnetic Flux Connector. It will be necessary to connect all terminals by turning the modules correctly. The correct option is shown in the screenshot below. Chat with the girl again.
Now return to the hotel and watch the new cut-scene in the lobby. When it ends, you will be able to freely explore your room, finding a couple of books. We advise you to go into the closet and then select the answers related to room service to get x20 Shields and Commendation of High Morale.
Next, take a break and check out what's going on outside. Talk to your friends, exit the hotel and approach Armor. A new cutscene will start in which they decide to arrest you, but you can escape. When the cutscene ends, the task will come to an end.
You can run, but you can't hide

A game of hide and seek
Having managed to escape from Armor, you will find yourself in the Underdark and meet Natasha. At the same time, Sampo will take Dan Heng somewhere.
