In Genshin Impact, paper alpacas are part of the neck movement puzzles found in the temporary summer location Simulanka. By solving them you will receive various treasure chests. In this guide, we will tell you where you can find all these riddles and how to solve them.
How to solve all the paper alpaca puzzles in Simulank
On the territory of Simulanka at a given time you can find three riddles related to neck movement. Their approximate locations are shown on the map below. Next, we described in detail how to get to them and quickly solve them.
In the future, new locations will appear in this fairy-tale kingdom. If additional alpacas are added, we will definitely consider them in this article.
Paper alpaca 1
You will need to solve this puzzle when completing the first story quest of the temporary region called “The Story Begins in the Forest Where There Is No Rain” and completing the task “Help the Forest Dwellers with Nilu.” We talked in detail about solving it in the specified guide.
Paper Alpaca 2
Move to the teleporter in the center of the Forest of Blessings, near the Rainsong Pond, and then start moving northwest. You will need to climb to the top of the square mountain. To do this, use the purple springboards. The exact location is shown in the screenshots below.
Then approach the paper alpaca from behind and ask if it needs help. She will say that her neck is stiff, and then note that she needs to turn around and nod. Select the “Then let’s begin” option to have a mark appear behind the animal’s back and the inscription “First bow to the Rain Song Pond.”
Press the “T” key and then turn the alpaca to the right so that it faces the south direction, as shown in the image below. Then walk back a little to stretch the animal's neck, and click LMB to nod. If you did everything correctly, you will hear the continuation of the verse.
Next you will need to “Pay honors to the Kingdom of Winds and Bells.” Press “T” again and now turn the alpaca to the left so that it begins to look in a northeast direction, towards the large purple tree below. Step back a little to extend the animal's head and bow. You will again hear the continuation of the verse.
At the end, you must “Pay respects to the Constellation Capital.” To do this, turn the alpaca further to the left so that it faces northwest, where you can see the outline of a huge castle. Again, nod and listen to the portion of the verse. If you did everything correctly, a precious chest will appear next to you.
Paper Alpaca 3
Teleport to the northernmost waypoint of the Forest of Blessings, and then start running southwest towards the cave entrance . Go inside and go deeper into it. Ahead you will see an alpaca standing near a table with fruit. Approach her and ask what happened. Then agree to help her.
The classic neck movement challenge will begin next, but here you will have to choose the right fruit – you only need to take bubbles that look like large oranges. Approach the alpaca from behind, press “T”, and then raise its neck to the desired height and select the fruits by pressing LMB. After that, put them in the funnel on the right side. The gif below shows the whole process.
