In Genshin Impact“Potapo Solidarity” is a cryo-enhanced Incarnation of Wyob and a local legend of the Pyro region, hiding in a personal arena in the Kingdom of Night. For a fight with him, if you meet the necessary conditions, you can unlock three named achievements from the “Duelist II” collection, giving a total of 35 Primogems.
From our guide, you will learn how to get to the arena to Potap and defeat the legend. We will analyze each attack of “Will of Confrontation and Battle”, and also recommend the most winning teams and tactics for fighting.
Potapo Solidarity Achievements: How to Unlock All
As long as you complete the conditions below, you will be able to unlock the following achievements for fighting Potapo Solidarity:
- 1st Achievement (+5 Primogems): Defeat Potapo Solidarity for the first time;
- 2nd Achievement (+10 Primogems): Defeat Potapo Solidarity by reviving every Wyobo assistant during the battle;
- 3rd achievement (+20 Primogems): Defeat Potapo Solidarity by maxing out the summoned Wyoob ally's damage without losing any party members.
Each achievement is a separate battle, so you can't get all three at once.
Where is the local legend Potapo Solidarity?
The path to Potapo's arena opens through a dark obelisk standing at the foot of two waterfalls in the gorge between the capital of Natlan and the Statue of the Archon in the territory of the Lords of the Night Wind. Get to the area marked in the map screenshot above and touch the stone – you will be transported to the place of the battle challenge.
Potapo is in charge of the “Coordination Test»: in addition to the enemy, a clone of him will appear on the field, connected by an energy flow to our squad – if you actively use the heal at this time, the assistant will rise and begin to continuously attack the boss with a static beam. If you do not stop healing the squad during his attack, you will be able to accelerate the damage of the ally deity and transform his normal attack into “Pierce: End of Dawn and Dusk”.
Combat techniques of the legend
Potapo has several pinpoint and mass attacks in his arsenal, as well as a special phase that is beneficial to our team. You can expect from him:
- Pinpoint attacks
The legend often attacks with volleys of ice rays, aiming them at our active character before the shot. The charge has a long radius, capable of reaching you from almost the opposite edge of the arena.
If you stay close, the enemy can change the technique a little: freezing in place, he will turn towards us, shooting an ice beam every two seconds – and so on up to 4-5 volleys in a row.
Sometimes the enemy launches a pinpoint attack in a small radius, during which a hail of ice fragments flies from above. Before the technique, a round field stretches at the place of impact – this is the area of damage.
- Area attacks
Starting a spin and concentrating a cold aura around himself (~ 5 seconds), Viob strikes the entire perimeter of the arena. This attack takes away about 60% of the active hero's HP (regardless of the total amount of health).
The “frost breath” attack is designed for a smaller radius, acting over an area a few steps in front of Potap. Once in the affected area, equal to a lying angle of 90 degrees, the character will receive constant cryo damage for about 5 seconds.
- Creating a Defender
After a few attack moves, Potap creates a clone of himself with low HP on the field. He connects to our active hero with a white beam and remains inactive until we use any healing skills (not specifically on him, but in general).
If you heal the clone-defender to maximum HP, he will help us attack the boss: the assistant will begin a continuous beam attack, after which he will disappear on his own. By continuing to use any treatment during the attack of an ally, we will increase his personal damage by 2-3 times.
Squads for the “Coordination Test”
In the fight with Potap, it is assumed that you will use a lot of healing. But the legend is not protected from other attacks, and it can be defeated with a regular squad, without resorting to the help of a defender. The first and last two achievements have very different approaches, so we will divide the recommended squads into two categories:
- Teams for the first victory
MAIN-DD | SUB-DD | SUPPORT | HILL/SHIELD |
---|---|---|---|
Yan Fei | Xing Qiu | Bennett | Barbara |
Chaska | Furina | Xiang Ling | Cookies |
As mentioned above, for the first victory you do not need to select a special squad – any heroes you are used to will be enough. We will only note that pyro and electro characters will be especially effective against an enemy with the cryo element. And also those who attack from the air (Chaska, Ororon, Wanderer), so that you don't have to think about dodging ice beams.
If you are counting on at least minimal help from the defender, put more heroes with healing skills: from the epics, Barbara, Yao Yao, Cookie, Chevreuse (C6); Xing Qiu (from the passive) and Bennett (from the ult) are suitable.), and more expensive ones – Kokomi, Furina, Jin, Qi Qi or Bai Zhu. Even one, but a good healer will be enough to revive the clone, without being distracted from the fight with Potap.
- Commands for 2 and 3 achievements
MAIN-DD | SUB-DD | SUPPORT | HILL/SHIELD |
---|---|---|---|
Xing Qiu | Bennett | Cookies | Barbara |
Furina | Qi Qi | Xian Yun | Kokomi |
The last two achievements require you to constantly resurrect your Wayob ally.
At the maximum boss level of 103, the strengthened assistant will be able to tick ~ from 45,000 to 105,000 or more units of damage, so the squad can be composed entirely of healers.
Choose your most effective healers (with a fast cooldown of abilities), and while Wyob is not on the field – just dodge damage and heal the loss of health.
How to defeat “Potapo Solidarity”
Stock up on food buffs before the fight, especially for defense, resistance to cryo damage and reduction of stamina consumption. When you form a pack of healers, you can temporarily put a crown on each for a healing bonus if you have extra artifacts. To successfully get all three achievements, we suggest following these tips:
- Actively use the heal when the defender appears in the arena
The assistant's HP is filled in parallel with any healing that your squad members receive. Remember that Wyob can disappear without even starting to attack if he is not revived in time (see the video above). If this happens even once, the process of getting the second achievement will have to be started over again.
- Stay away from the defender until he is revived
When the assistant appears on the field, Potap will constantly attack with aimed beams. While you are filling Vaioba with HP, it is better not to stand close to him, otherwise the legend can touch and destroy the clone (as shown in the video above) before he becomes active.
- The defender's damage must be accelerated at the moment of his attack
To get the last achievement, you need to actively use all possible heal at the moment when the revived clone begins to attack – the more healing, the more the assistant's damage will accelerate. Try not to waste skills before this, and heal injured allies with dry rations.
- For the third achievement, you need a squad of healers
The tricky description of the third achievement boils down to the fact that you must not only resurrect the assistant-Wyob with healing, but also strengthen him with the same healing. This will work if your team consists entirely of full-fledged healers (such as Kokomi or Barbara). In the video above, we showed a short demonstration of gameplay in such a specific squad.
How to repeat the fight with “Potapo Solidarity”
After winning, losing, or interrupting the “coordination test”, you will be transferred to a totem through which (at any time) you can repeat the fight with Potapo. From here, you can also return to Teyvat to the place from which we get to the arena.
