InKingdom Come: Deliverance 2Premonition of Evil is a side quest and an optional part of the Mysteria Ecclesiae expansion chain. As part of it, you will have to help the librarian Crispin by bringing him mint and sage to protect him from possible infection. Please note that completing this quest is one of the conditions for receiving the secret achievement “Benefactor”. If you have difficulty taking it or completing it, then study our guide.

How to start the task
First of all, you will need to complete the story mission “Anamnesis”, after which you will receive the quest “Prevention”, one of the tasks of which will send you to the library in search of a recipe for aromatic oil. We advise you to go around the monastery and enter it from the south side, since in this case you are less likely to be detected by the guards.
Once you reach the library, go to the far southeast corner and you will find Librarian Crispin sitting at his desk. Enter into dialogue with him and continue the conversation until skill check options appear. You will need to choose the usual answer: “I will help you protect yourself from the disease”, and then say “I'll get them” to start the corresponding quest. If you choose other phrases and pass the check, you will skip this mission.
Note: If you fail the skill check, you will also start this quest. Let us add that if you already have the necessary herbs, then we can immediately transfer them to the monk, however, we do not advise you to do this, since the task may be bugged and not count towards you. It’s better to first stop the current conversation, and then talk to Crispin again and only then give him the medicinal flowers.
Collect mint (2)
You can find the necessary plants in the Forest Garden, which is located in the southeastern part of the monastery territory. Here you will find a couple of outbuildings and a number of beds with various herbs, including mint. We are talking about small bluish flowers with thin green leaves. The screenshots below show their exact locations. We advise you to collect more, as mint will be useful in the “Prevention” quest.
Collect sage (2)
Fortunately, you won’t have to go far, since sage grows in the same Forest Garden, just to the right of the mint. You can easily find it, as it looks like a bright purple oblong flower.
Take the herbs to the librarian
Having obtained the necessary plants, return to the library and talk to Crispin again. Give him 2 mints and 2 sages from your inventory. Then you can ask him about aromatic oils if you still can't find the recipe or want to know more about their preparation.
This concludes the task. You will not receive any additional rewards for completing it. Let us note once again that completing this mission is required to obtain the “Benefactor” achievement.
