In Project Zomboid the interactive map is an extremely useful tool that allows you not only to better navigate the huge open world of the game, but also to plan your future routes, finding safe shelters or important items needed for survival. It is relatively easy to use and can always be at your fingertips.

Note that the map above shows the vanilla world – Knox County (B41), that is, without any user modifications or changes. It immediately gives access to all locations available in the game. For this reason, there is no need to select any specific area – just move the map with your mouse cursor or finger to find the area you need.
Note: If you want to see other maps, such as those related to challenges or created by the community, then open this entire map by clicking the mouse wheel on the inscription “Zomboid Map Project”.
The default map shows the location of all interesting objects in the game (information is constantly updated) – they are highlighted with blue dots. Moreover, if you hover over them, you can see a brief description with information about what can be found in a particular place, and what benefits it can bring to players.
If you need to quickly go to any area, then click on the settings icon in the form of three stripes, and then click on the inscription“Select a POI”and select the area of interest to you. To change the scale, use the “+” and “-” buttons located in the upper left corner of the screen. If the map itself does not seem large enough for you, then simply increase the size of the site page using the combination “Ctrl + mouse wheel”.
Add that on the full map you can also view all floors of high-rise buildings by selecting the appropriate levels in the menu, record coordinates (useful when using teleportation) and add personal points to remember important points or build routes.
