How to open the Purple Cloud Mountain
To open the passage to the secret location, you need to defeat the Yaoguai Chieftain Poisoner Daoist twice.
First fight with the Poisoner Daoist
In the Spiderweb Pit location, get to the Jade Lake point. From this save, go to the cave on the left through the hanging spider cocoons. When you reach the courtyard, you will see a huge cocoon in which the Taoist will be. Hit the cocoon to provoke a fight.
The first encounter with this boss is a prerequisite for his second appearance next time.
Second fight with the Poisoner Daoist
Another encounter with the Daoist will now only take place in the second part of the fourth chapter in the Temple of the Yellow Flower.
Get to the teleport Courtyard of Lightand turn your back to him. Go forward through the gate and enter the next one opposite. Climb all the stairs and turn left at the fork in the road. Go down to get to the arena, where you will be attacked by the Taoist Poisoner.
After the fight with him, you will finally have the opportunity to go to a new location by interacting with the fresco on the wall of the arena.

Talk to the snake
As soon as you advance a little in the new location, you will hear a female voice. Move further until you see a red snake wrapped around a tree.
Talk to her a few times and listen to her story. The snake will also warn you about the poisonous enemies that inhabit the village. Next to the snake is a chest from which you can take the Purifying Powder, which is needed to quickly remove the poisoned status.
Find Daoist Mi
Explore Purple Cloud Mountain until you find the Falling Petals Village altar. From the teleporter, go forward across the bridge, immediately turn left and go up the stairs straight to the next character – Daosu Mi.
Talk to him and he will ask you to kill his companions. To continue the quest, you need to get the Violet Hail item.
How to find Violet City
You can knock out the item Daoist Mi needs from a random Daoist in yellow robes. Kill Daoists until you get the Violet Hail.
Important: Do not move further in the location, so as not to run into the final boss. If you defeat him before handing in the quest to Daoist Mi, it will be impossible to continue it.
Once the Insatiable Worm Egg appears in your inventory, deliver it to the Masked Daoist and fight him.
After the battle, you will be able to get the transformation spell Violet Hail from Hong Yi, the snake you met at the beginning.
How to Find the Lord of Scorpions
The next boss can be found by following from the previous altarFalling Petal Village. Stand with your back to the entrance to the village itself and go left to the gazebo. Go further, and on the right you will see the Scorpion Lord lying on the roof of the house.
Talk to him and he will persistently ask you to leave. To provoke a fight, it is enough to break the vessels of wine standing around.
However, if you listen to him and leave him alone, he will join the battle with the final boss of Mountain of Purple Clouds. But the Lord of Scorpions will appear only in the more or less easy first phase of the battle, after which he will die. If you decide to fight him now, you can get good materials for crafting items and a new bottle.
How to find the final boss of Purple Cloud Mountain
Follow the location further and get to the altarNest in the Clouds. Just go up the stairs on the right to the arena, where the final boss Twilight Lord will be waiting for you.
Fight him and watch the cutscene at the end of the fight. The snake Hong Yi, familiar to you earlier, will restore the power of the needle that poisoned Zhu Bajie, turning it into the Weaver's Needle artifact. This artifact will be a huge help in the fight against the final boss of the entire fourth chapter.
