In Genshin Impact, the Quenena Berry is a local curiosity of Natlan, necessary for the ascension of a number of heroes and the creation of useful tools. You will need a considerable amount of these berries, so in this guide we decided to show you where you can find and buy them.
Note: The exact location of the materials on the map will be shown after the release of update 5.0. For now, you can read the information about what they are needed for and how to prepare for their collection.
What is Quenepa Berry for in Genshin Impact
At the moment, it is necessary for leveling up only one character – Kachina. However, even to elevate just one heroine, you will need 168 pieces of these juicy fruits, so you should be prepared for their long and rather tedious farming.
Let's add that these berries are also required to craft an extremely useful gadget using Alchemy:
- Pyrocule Echo Stone = Quenepa Berry x5 + Sea Feather x5 + Crystal Fragment x1 + 500 Mora
With this tool, you can greatly simplify your search for pyrocules in Natlan, as it will mark the location of the fire particles closest to you.

Recommended characters
You can collect these fruits with any heroes, but if you plan to seriously engage in their farming (that is, not make a 5-minute sortie, but arrange a real 30-40 minute hike), then we advise you to take several characters in the squad, which will allow you to significantly reduce the time of collecting this curiosity. All of them are listed in the table below.
Characters | Features |
---|---|
Nahida | Her elemental skill will allow you to quickly collect curiosities from afar. This will save you from having to climb trees, ledges, and other hard-to-reach places. |
Mualani Kachina Kinich | Shows all the nearby local curiosities of Natlan on the minimap. |
Ye Lan | Can cover both long and short distances very quickly in the absence of obstacles using its elemental skill. |
Ember Colleys Venti | Reduces the active hero's stamina consumption while using the glider by 20 percent. The bonus does not stack. |
Kirara | Allows you to quickly cross small or medium ledges with your elemental skill. |
Yae Miko | Can increase her movement speed by placing Electro Totems (elemental skill). |
Wanderer | With his elemental skill, he can hover above the ground, which will allow you to quickly overcome small bodies of water, pits, and crevices. He can also fly up, which will help you get to hard-to-reach locations. |
Kaeya Razor Kazuha Heizo | Reduces the active hero's stamina consumption during sprinting by 20 percent. The bonus is not cumulative |
Xian Yun | She can quickly soar into the sky with her elemental skill, allowing her to easily climb high ledges. |
Xiao Kandakia | Reduces the active hero's stamina consumption when climbing rocks and other vertical surfaces by 20 percent. The bonus does not stack. Can make additional dashes thanks to its elemental skill. |
Bei Dou Kokomi | Reduces the active hero's stamina consumption while swimming by 20 percent. The bonus is not cumulative. |
Mona Ayaka | Their unique sprint animation allows them to move quickly across water, making it easier to cross rivers, lakes, and other water obstacles. |
Furina | Can run on water for a very long time thanks to its elemental skill, helping it quickly cross water obstacles. |
Saya | If you hold down the heroine's elemental skill for a long time, she will turn into a wind wheel, which will significantly increase her movement speed. Often, moving it turns out to be even faster than sprinting. |
Rosaria | The movement speed of team members increases by 10% during the dark hours (from 18:00 to 06:00) thanks to the heroine's passive skill “Path in the Night”. |
Dehya | The movement speed of team members increases by 10% during daylight hours (from 06:00 to 18:00) thanks to the heroine's passive skill “Solar Path”. |
2x Anemo character | Anemo Resonance “Nimble Wind” appears, which reduces stamina consumption by 15% and increases movement speed by 10 percent. |
Also remember to bring a large number of stamina-building dishes with you and add them to your dry rations so that you can use them immediately.
How long does it take for Quenep Berries to respawn
As with other types of local curiosities, these fruits respawn exactly 48 hours after being collected in real time. So after visiting the best farming spots, just wait a couple of days and then go through these routes again or ask to go to your friends' worlds.
Where to find Quenep Berries in Genshin Impact
The official description says that Quenep Berries are blue juicy fruits that grow in large quantities near the Cron Scions tribe and are very similar to Flame Garnet, but are much easier to collect. You can find these materials in the wild in the Mount Coatepec area, just below the Cron Scions settlement.
All farming spots will be shown after patch 5.0 is released. We also advise you to keep an interactive map of Natlan in front of you to better navigate the area.
Where to buy Quenep Berries
Unfortunately, at the moment, you cannot buy this local curiosity from anyone. However, you can get some during test runs and hero birthdays. Plus, a few Quenep Berries are given out for some Natlan world quests. Of course, these methods are not as effective as farming, so there is no escape from it.
