In Genshin Impact Recorded Intelligence is a special consumable item added to the game with the release of update 6.1 (Luna II) and is necessary to complete the exchange of information with Katerina in Nashgorod. Thus, you will be able to unlock unique world quests related to the Curatorium of Secrets.
You can obtain intelligence data from certain characters living in the capital of Nod's Edge. In this guide, we will show you their location, as well as tell you exactly how to exchange information, and provide links to completing the world quests associated with it.
How to get Recorded Intelligence in Genshin Impact
Important: Let us immediately note that in order to collect intelligence, you must have at least one representative of the Curatorium of Secrets on your account. At this point in time, these include: Nefer and Yagoda.
Add one of the above characters to your team and select him, then go to a certain character who has a small golden triangle hanging above his head and press the elemental skill button next to him (E key on PC). After this, you should immediately receive 1 unit of recorded intelligence and see a sign with various secret information about the NPC.
In advance Note that in total you can find 24 characters (all of them are located in Nashgorod), from whom you can obtain hidden intelligence data, but in one week you will only be able to obtain 6 similar items. The timer resets every Monday. Therefore, you will need at least 4 weeks to collect all the information sheets. Next, we have indicated the location of all NPCs.
Beren
Move to the southern teleport of the city, and then turn around and go even further south, and find the merchant Beren from Fontaine on the pier.
Zinaida
Move again to the previous teleport, and then turn a little to the right, and you will find here the treasure hunter Zinaida, who, like Yagoda, was previously a member of the Sea Hooks.
Chicherin
From the previous NPC, start moving northwest, and you will find here a warehouse manager named Chicherin, who was a former warrior.
Reko
Then start moving north into the main part of the city and around the corner you will see the jeweler Reko, from whom, by the way, you can purchase low-level artifacts.
Golitsyn
Move to the teleporter next to the Adventurer's Guild, and then start running southeast to the forge and here turn left to the road going down. After going down, turn right, and you will find the owner of the shop, Golitsyna.
Gierson
From Golitsyna, go a little further to the southeast, and then turn left and go up the stairs, and you will find here detective Gyerson, who was able to solve several murders, but not thanks to his deduction, but due to pure luck.
Kamenka
Turn right from the previous NPC, go up the stairs and go a little forward to find Kamenka, who is selling so-called investment certificates, trying to make money on gullible people.
Kudratov
After interacting with the scammer, simply turn around and you will notice Agent Fatui near the corner of the building. Despite his menacing appearance and his debt collection activities, he is actually a coward.
Hedwig
From the character's past, go outside the city, moving east to the sea coast. Here you will find the head of the Nod Land fishing association – Hedwig. In the past, she obtained a relic from the Atlas, but immediately threw it back because it was not a fish.
Gaudencius
Teleport to the Adventurer's Guild again, and then go a little south and you will find the former adventurer Gaudencius.
Ju Jian
Right behind Gaudentius you will find the merchant Ju Jian, from whom you can also get intelligence. He sells cheap goods, but very successfully, because he knows how to talk customers out.
Sompainko
Turn right from the merchant and you will notice a researcher from Natlan doing exercises. He is interested in the Children of the Frostmoon and one of Nefer's personal quests is connected with him – “Research of Leaks”.
Iratshe
Then turn left, and you will immediately see Melusine Iratshe a little ahead, who is an agent of the Twilight Court and is spying on Tyange.
Omesov
From Melusine, go down the small tunnel leading to the Flagman Bar. Directly opposite the door to the establishment you will see the former Fatui Omesov, who was expelled from the group for theft.
Kruchek
Now enter the Flagship Bar and run to the opposite side, and behind the bar you will find a Fatui recruiter named Kruczek. He is looking for personnel for the Kuuväki Experimental Design Bureau.
Sendzimir
Teleport to the Adventurer's Guild again and walk forward a little, and you will find a merchant named Sendzimir in front of you, who has excellent business acumen.
Kauneya
Even a little further from Sendzimir you can find the red-haired beauty Kaunea, who works as a style consultant. This young lady is recognized not only in Snezhnaya, but also in Fontaine, and is also going to make Yagoda a model.
Slazhnev
Return to the Adventurer's Guild and go a little east, going down to find student Slazhnev here.
Williami
From Slazhnev, turn left and use the lift to go up. Turn left and find Vilyami here, who in the past was a major smuggler.
Dabit
Head to the northeast of the city, going up and reaching Dabit's bookstore. You will learn that his investment coupons are a scam, which will trigger the quest “Small Trading”.
Sukhov
Teleport to the southwest waypoint on the roof of the building, then go a little south and jump down towards the souvenir shop. Land next to the store, and near it you will find a Sukhov warrior. Note that if he is not near the bench, you will find a man a little to the left (usually he stands here during the day).
Kharshin
Directly opposite the souvenir shop you can find a scientist named Kharshin. He looks educated, but in reality he speaks only nonsense.
Urva
Go to Dory's store in Nashgorod, located in its southeastern part. Here behind the counter you will find Urwa. In the past, he led a gang of robbers that robbed the rich and helped the poor.
Valekhti
First scroll the time to game clock at 20:00and then move to the Adventurer's Guild and run south to the alchemy workbench. Walk past it and turn into the alley on the right side. Here you will find information merchant Valehti, who is in fact a boastful fraudster.
How to exchange information in Genshin Impact
So, let's say you were able to get your hands on 6 recorded intelligence. What now? Everything here is quite simple – run to Katerina in Nashgorod, who stands behind the counter of the Adventurers’ Guild, and interact with her (again, you need to have Nefer or Yagoda on your team). Next, you will see a new dialogue option in the list of answers – “Information Exchange”, which you will need to select.
As a result, a special menu will open where blocked data folders will be presented. To open them, you will need to spend the intelligence collected earlier. Below we have listed all the quests and the requirements for unlocking them.
Haunted Pirate Ship Wreck
- Opening Cost: 5 Recorded Intelligence
As part of this quest, you will explore the site of a shipwreck and find clues pointing to the location of Reed Miller's treasure and a dangerous robber hiding in these lands. You can read a detailed walkthrough in our separate guide.
Unrest Caused by Theft
- Opening Cost: 5 Recorded Intelligence
During this mission, Nefer and Yagoda investigate the case of the Wandering Ring caravan, which recently stopped in Nashgorod and is associated with a strange crime. Missing order target
- Opening cost: 5 recorded intelligence
During this mission, you will learn about a wanted man who committed many terrible crimes and then suddenly disappeared. However, the culprit must be found and punished. To do this, you need to collect information by talking with Leszek. You can read a detailed walkthrough in our separate guide.
Strange Hermit
- Opening cost: 5 recorded intelligence
As part of this mission, you will learn about Devonte, who lives away from other people, in the north of Lempo Island, in the eastern part of the Desert Corridor. He used to regularly visit Nashgorod, but later stopped visiting the city. We need to find out what exactly happened to him. You can read a detailed walkthrough in our separate guide.
We would like to add that after completing all the above tasks, you will automatically start the quest “When the dust has settled”, during which you will finally find Hark Raggedmaw and deal with him.
The Man Who Once Deceived
- Opening cost: 2 recorded intelligence
- Requires Nefer to be on your account
This is Nefer's personal task, so it will most likely not be possible to take on it with Berry. As part of it, you will have to talk with Nefer in the Curatorium of Secrets, learning more information about her past and her deceased father. You can read a detailed walkthrough in our separate guide.
Yagoda's hidden quest
- Opening cost: 2 recorded intelligence
- Requires Yagoda to be on your account
At the moment, you cannot open Yagoda’s personal quest on the “Information Exchange” page. It is highly likely that access to it will be unlocked after the release of update 6.2 (Luna III), when the playable Berry appears.
