How to start Rogovest's quest in Shadow of the Erdtree
First meeting on the Plain of Tombstones
Rogovest is located near the Three Roads Cross save point. If you talk to him, he will tell you about the sad fate of his people, and also that Mikella the Magnanimous promised to help take revenge on those who were involved in this.
Talk to Rogovest again, and he will give you a Map with a cross and urge you to follow Mikella.

Second meeting in Shadow Altus
You can see Horned Old Woman a second time in Shadow Altus, next to Leda the Needler and the “Cross by the Road” teleporter. Return to the Cross by the Road and talk to Rogovest again. He will tell you that with the disappearance of the spell, he remembered his thirst for revenge and is ready to finally fulfill it by dealing with Messmer.
There you can also talk to Leda the Needler, who will tell you that she will kill everyone who is unworthy to follow Mikella. Suggest that she choose Rogovest. She will tell you that he really is a threat, but she needs time to think about it.
Wait a little time at the grace and return to Leda to hear her decision. She will talk about the need to kill Rogovest and inform you that she is going to the black fortress to follow him.
On whose call to answer in the Haven of Shadows
Defeat the Golden Hippopotamus at the very beginning of the Haven of Shadows and go left. Follow forward until you see a large area with ships. There, opposite the large staircase, you will see two summoning signs: Rogovest and Leda the Needler.
Answer Rogovest's call

After defeating Messmer, rest at the new teleport point “Messmer's Dark Chambers” so that Rogovest appears in the hall again. Rogovest will begin the invasion at the large staircase at the exit to the grace “Temple of Flowerbuds, Main Entrance”. Defeat him and you will receive his entire set of equipment: Falx Sword, Mask, Robe, Armguards, and Loincloth. This will end Rogovest's quest.
Answer the call of Leda the Needler
If you decide to answer Leda's call, you will also need to help her kill Rogovest. This time, you will receive the entire set of equipment at once.
However, it will no longer be possible to summon him to fight Messmer – the summon button will be missing. Also, Rogovest will not appear in the final battle with Leda as her ally.
Ignore All Summoning Signs
You can ignore the summoning signs of Leda and Rogovest and go straight to Messmer the Impaler.
In this case, the outcome of Rogovest's storyline will depend on whether you summon him to fight the boss or not. You will have to kill him in the Ruins of Rauch or fight in Enir-Ilim with Leda and Dane Dryleaf.
