Where to find the quest item
To begin completing the mission, you first need to find the sacrificial heart. You can do this in Act 3 when exploring a location called Utsaal. You will get here according to the story when completing the main quest “Legacy of Vaal”, so do not be afraid to skip this level.
Start clearing the area, destroying all enemies in your path. The thing is that the heart drops randomly from one of the local mobs. It will be highlighted in green, and its description will indicate that it is an item for a quest. However, no quest will be launched.
Where to take the sacrificial heart
In the description of the item, you can read that it should be sacrificed in the correct ritual place, and then you will immediately be given 2 passive skill points for the weapon set. Let us immediately note that the right place is in Aggorath.
How to Return to the Past of the Temple of Atzoatl
What if you have already completed Act 3 and went through the portal that takes the hero to the modified Act 1 (4)? In this case, clear the Riverbank and deal with the Bloated Miller. Then get to Clearfell and interact with the teleporter. Now just move to the past of the Temple of Atzoatl, from where you can get to the desired location.
Important: If you are still playing Act 3, then you do not need to do any of the above – just continue to complete the main story mission until you find yourself in Aggorath.
Where is the correct ritual site
According to the story, you will get to Aggorath from Black Halls, located slightly to the left. Although the map is randomly generated, the place you need is in most cases in the northeast (see the second screenshot below). It is called Bloody Sacrifice and there is usually a checkpoint near it.
You will see a stone platform on which the Sacrificial Dagger will lie – take it, and then place the Sacrificial Heart on the altar by interacting with it. Next, click on the heart again to stick the dagger into it, thereby completing the ritual.
Immediately after this, a message will appear in the chat window a message that you have been given 2 passive skill points that you can spend immediately without waiting for a level increase.
