In Genshin Impact, the Zaurian's Paw is a local curiosity of Natlan, which is necessary for the ascension of a number of heroes and the crafting of useful tools. You will need a considerable number of these plants, so in this guide we decided to show you where you can find and buy them.
Note: The exact location of the materials on the map will be shown after the release of update 5.0. Now you can read about what they are for and how to prepare to collect them.
What is the Saurian Paw for in Genshin Impact
Currently, it is required to level only one game character – Kinich, but this will likely change in the future, as HoYoverse plans to add quite a few fighters from the Pyro Kingdom. It should be remembered that to elevate even one hero, you will need to collect 168 pieces of these materials, so we advise you to farm them in advance.
Crafting Recipes
Let's add that these curiosities are also required to craft extremely useful items using Forging and Cooking.
Item | Recipe |
---|---|
Pyro Treasure Compass | Golden Raven Seal x10 Paw saurian x30 Crystal Fragment x50 50,000 Mora |
Elixir of Power | Candlestick x2 Zavrian's Paw x1 100 Mora |
Note that to obtain the recipe for the above gadget, you just need to level up your reputation in Natlan to level 9. With it, you can see the location of the nearest chests of different rarities in the Pyro region.
Preparing to collect the Saurian Paw
Recommended characters
You can collect these plants with any heroes, but if you plan to seriously farm them (that is, make not a 5-minute foray, but arrange a real 30-40 minute hike), then we advise you to take several characters into the squad, which will allow you to significantly reduce the time it takes to collect this curiosity. All of them are listed in the table below.
Characters | Features |
---|---|
Nahida | With her elemental skill, you can quickly collect curiosities from afar. This will save you from having to climb trees, clamber onto ledges, and get to other hard-to-reach places. |
Mualani Kachina Kinich | Shows all the nearby local curiosities of Natlan on the minimap. |
Ye Lan | Can cover both long and short distances very quickly in the absence of obstacles using its elemental skill. |
Amber Colley Venti | Reduces the active hero's stamina consumption while using the glider by 20 percent. The bonus is not cumulative. |
Kirara | Allows you to quickly overcome small or medium ledges thanks to its elemental skill. |
Yae Miko | Can increase its movement speed by placing Electro Totems (elemental skill). |
Wanderer | Thanks to his elemental ability, he can hover above the ground, allowing you to quickly cross small bodies of water, pits, and crevices. It can also fly up, which will help you get into hard-to-reach locations. |
Kaeya Razor Kazuha Heizo | Reduces the active hero's stamina consumption during sprinting by 20 percent. The bonus does not stack. |
Xian Yun | She can quickly soar into the sky with her elemental skill, allowing her to easily climb high ledges. |
Xiao Kandakia | Reduces the active hero's stamina consumption when climbing rocks and other vertical surfaces by 20 percent. The bonus does not stack. Can make extra dashes with its elemental skill. |
Bei Dou Kokomi | Reduces the active hero's stamina consumption while swimming by 20 percent. The bonus does not stack. |
Mona Ayaka | Their unique sprint animation allows them to move quickly across water, making it easier to cross rivers, lakes, and other water obstacles. |
Furina | Can run on water for a very long time thanks to her elemental skill, helping to quickly overcome water obstacles. |
Sayu | If you hold down the heroine's elemental skill for a long time, she will turn into a wind wheel, which will significantly increase her movement speed. Often, moving it turns out to be even faster than sprinting. |
Rosaria | The movement speed of team members increases by 10% in the dark (from 18:00 to 06:00) thanks to the heroine's passive skill “Path in the Night”. |
Dehya | Team members' movement speed increases by 10% during daylight hours (from 06:00 to 18:00) thanks to the heroine's passive skill “Solar Path”. |
2x Anemo character | Anemo resonance “Nimble wind” appears, which reduces stamina cost by 15% and increases movement speed by 10 percent. |
Also remember to bring a large number of stamina dishes and add them to your dry rations so that you can use them immediately.
How long does it take for Saurian Paws to respawn
As with other types of local oddities, these plants regenerate exactly 48 real-time hours after being collected. So after visiting the best farming spots, just wait a couple of days and then go through these routes again or ask to join your friends' worlds.
Where to find Saurian Paws in Genshin Impact
The official description says that Saurian Paws are fleshy plants that resemble an animal's paw. They can be found in the wild in the Sulfur Veins.
All farming spots will be revealed after patch 5.0 is released. We also recommend that you keep an interactive map of Natlan in front of you to better navigate the area.
Where to buy Saurian Paws
Unfortunately, at the moment, this local oddity cannot be purchased from anyone. However, you can get some during test runs and hero birthdays. Plus, a few saurian paws are given out for some quests in the world of Natlan. Of course, these methods are not comparable in efficiency to farming, so there is no escape from it.
