In Genshin Impact, “The Seeker Does Not Find” is a Natlana world quest and the second stage of the “A Tale of Dreams Torn from the Fire” quest chain. The Traveler continues to help Chikia with her search for a healing elixir; Having completed the inspection of the lava ruins, the heroes intend to rise above the southern part of the Toyek Streams and explore the upper worlds.

How to start and complete the quest “The Seeker Does Not Find”
This quest is a direct continuation of the mission “The Past Cannot Be Traced“, in which we first help Chikia. Check out our guide to the first stage and find out the conditions for starting the entire quest chain.
There is no wait time between the first and second stages, and the new mission immediately appears in the task tab. To begin, start tracking and travel to the Archon Statue in the Toyek Creek area.
Go to the Upper Realms
In the previous quest, we restored the spiritual path in the lava dungeon, thereby activating the ring with phlogiston above the hole in the ruins. We return to the place where the first quest ended, reincarnate into a coholasaurus (the blue mark should remain on the platform in front of the ring) or, if there is Mualani in the squad, activate her Night Spirit skill (E-shka), and then jump onto the energy flow.
The first time you ride this spiritual path, you can collect one Pyrocule.
Move to the next floating island
The determined Chikia, accompanied by our heroes, finally ascended to the floating islands. Now it remains to activate some mechanisms and understand what the “final test of the Sage of the Stolen Flame” is and how to pass it.
First, you need to move from the starting island with the teleporter to the one located slightly to the east: go to the far edge of the area and examine the beacon under the glowing flower, and when a wind stream appears in its place, use it to fly forward.
The Wanderer, Xian Yuan, Kazuha, or Venti will also help you get to the other side.
Examine the rainbow inscription
On the second island with water sources, approach and examine the golden hologram marked with a blue marker. After touching it, a mysterious line will appear at the top of the screen: “Those who yearn to receive the flame must go to the monument…“; we can continue our journey to the next islands.
Reach the last floating island
The path to the last floating island can be opened on the eastern half of the previous one: climb the hill and get rid of the anemo slimes, and then examine the light beacon that appears on the ground, which will cause the wind flow to appear again.
Rising into the air above this area, you can get another pyrocule.
On the last piece of land, we activate another teleport and go to examine the golden hologram. Someone's urging words appear above us again: “…Go to the floating island in the center of the sea“, – all that remains is to carefully jump to a separate, northern half of the island and approach the stone slab with a shimmering cobblestone.
Touch the giant stone tablet and pass the test
The company understands that the mechanism on the stone tablet is connected to the next test and calls the flow with phlogiston. After completing the collective discussion, select “Proceed to the test” and transform into a dragon, whose blue mark will appear near the mechanism.
After entering the phlogiston flow, follow the spark of flame that moves in the left half of the screen. While moving, try to pick up all the particles and accurately follow two main recommendations:
- Some branches will be replaced by others, so press the spacebar in time and jump to a new path so as not to fall;
- There will be one gap on the path that you need to jump over so as not to go astray;
At the end of the route in the spiritual path test on the floating islands, we will be given the first guaranteed achievement “Hidden Path” (+5 Primogems).
Reach the center of the upper worlds
Riding the phlogiston flow will take us to an island in the center of the upper worlds, in the middle of which there is another stone tablet – prepare your party for battle and approach her to learn the true nature of the Key Trial.
After the story scene in which an unknown force calls the Traveler “the chosen one of the dragons” and asks for a hand, the battle with the lava incarnations will immediately begin. It remains to defeat three stone golems and hear the final dialogue with Chikia.
Despite the long journey, the Sage of the Stolen Flame's test did not lead the company to the all-healing elixir. Our adventure, like the entire quest chain “A Tale of Dreams Snatched from the Fire”, ends here.
After the last dialogue, the second guaranteed achievement will be unlocked – “Not all treasures are gold and silver” (+5 primogems), and a reward of 40 primogems, 300 points to the adventure rank + 200 points of the Folk of the Springs reputation, some resources for pumping and one fragment of the rainbow inscription will be given.
