In Genshin Impact In the Shadow Mountains is a small quest chain in Natlan that allows you to better explore the Pyro region and its tribes. As part of it, you will have to restore the inscription, get to the shadow needle, explore the cave, find fragments of the inscription and grant peace to the warriors. How to Start the Mountain Shadows Chain in Genshin Impact

Before you can take on the first quest in this line, you will need to meet certain conditions, which include:

  • Reach at least Adventure Rank 40.
  • Complete the Archon quest “A Black Stone Buried Under a White Stone”, which is the second chapter of the fifth volume of the main storyline.

Once you have completed these requirements, you can head to the Lesser Shadow Needle with Titus to begin the starting quest of the chain. We will tell you more about this after the release of update 5.0…

Under the Crystal

You will have to help Titus deal with the Shadow Needle and strengthen the seal of the Abyss. To do this, you will have to restore the inscription, complete the sealing ritual, explore the area under the gorge and deal with all the enemies. As a reward for completing this mission, you will receive 400 adventure points, 50 source stones, 30 thousand mora, 5 hero books and 4 units of magic ore of enhancement. The large Shadow Needle will fall, creating a huge hole in the ground. Take up the exploration of the new cave, follow the inscription and find its fragments. Then move to the sealed pillar, destroy the inscription and thus grant peace to the warriors. At the end, talk to Titu.

As a reward for completing this mission, you will receive 350 adventure points, 40 source stones, 20 thousand mora, 2 hero books and 2 units of magic ore of enhancement. A detailed walkthrough of the quest is presented in our separate material.
