In the courtyard of Toluca Prison in Silent Hill 2 Remake, having received the hangman's lever, you will be able to activate the puzzle with the hanged man. With the help of six verses, you will have to determine which of the hanged men is innocent in order to proceed further along the plot.

How to solve the puzzle with the hanged man in Silent Hill 2
To determine the only innocent person convicted, you need to substitute the appropriate records with the continuation of each of the presented verses.
The catch is that for each difficulty level the poems will be different. Also, the texts of the second part of the poems have two options (guiltyand innocent) and you can get absolutely random.
Just correctly match the tablets with the verses, based on the rhyme and meaning of the story of each hanged man.
Below we will show you an example of screenshots from our walkthrough on the standard level of puzzle difficulty. In our case, it was the hanged man number VI who turned out to be innocent (we marked him in red):
Once all the poems are correctly collected, you will no longer be able to move the records. Reread all the poems and think about who needs to be saved.
Once you have decided, turn to the six gallows and interact with the one whose number corresponds to the number of the innocent hanged man.
If you did everything correctly, you will immediately get to the next location – the labyrinth.
If you made a mistake, you will fall into a dungeon with many monsters. Kill them and head back up the stairs to the puzzle to try again.
