How to Start the Quest
In the location Valley of Delights, next to the “Happy Forest”” teleport, on a corpse next to a wooden gate, you can find a fox fur collar.
As soon as you approach the corpse, the fox herself will talk to you and ask you to tell her story, exactly repeating the scene from the beginning of the third chapter.
The snow fox will tell you how she was saved from a trap and given shelter by a man, but one day he had a terrible dream, after which he decided to kill her, making a collar from her skin. Because of this, her spirit was imprisoned in this world and the yaoguai will ask for help in taking revenge on him.
The fox will also tell you that she learned that the man who took her life became a monk in the Thunderclaps Temple and you can find him in the side corridor. She will also ask you to take her skin and take her form when you get to the monk.
After talking to her, you will have a legendary item in your inventory Arctic Fox Brush, with which you can take the form of a snow fox until the end of her quest. Transforming into a snow fox will make your character a little faster and help attract less attention. Taking the form of a fox or staying in the usual one – doesn't matter. The brush will only be useful to you at the end of your journey.
How to Find the Monk
Go through the gate with the fox and turn right along the road. Go through the second gate and run further along the road until you reach a large red arch.
Go through it and turn left, continuing the path to the next wooden gate, next to which there will be another teleport.
Run through the field with mobs, turn right and go straight up to the temple complex. Enter the small red building and run straight through it to the outside. There will also be another save point in front of this building.
Climb the stone stairs on the left, run forward a little and turn left to the next red building.
Enter it, use the stairs on the right and, having reached the second floor, go outside. Turn right and exit through the open gate. Climb the stone stairs to the very top and enter the temple, where the Unempty Monk will be in front of the golden Buddha statue.
How to Complete the Snow Fox Quest
Use the Arctic Fox Brush to transform into a fox, otherwise the monk will not react to you.
Only after you use the brush will a cutscene begin where the Unhollowed recognizes the fox guai and begins a fight with you.
In battle, the Unhollowed can be temporarily invulnerable and dodge your attacks well. After defeating him, you can absorb his spirit and return to the fox with good news.
Go to the Happy Forest teleporter and interact with the fox. Breathing a sigh of relief, the Yaoguai fox spirit will be released and your inventory will be replenished with the “Arctic Fox Brush” curiosity, which will give an average bonus, increasing the time of any transformation.
