In Genshin Impact, Wangshan Hall Spare Key is a quest item required to unlock two grates in Chenyu Valley, one of which is connected to task of the world, and the other with an optional test. In this guide, we will tell you exactly how to get this key and what you can open with it.

How to get it
You can obtain it at the end of the side mission “A Walk to Remember in Wangshan Hall.” Juan III will give you the key. You can look at it at any time in your inventory in the “Task” section.
First grate
You can use this key as part of the next quest in the chain – “Ancient Scrolls and the Art of the Guhua Sword.” You will need to open the grate for them, located in the underground room of the Wangshan Hall. Behind it lies a rich chest and the path to the library. You are unlikely to miss it, since the quest marker points to it.
Second grate
With this lattice door it will be more difficult, since the game does not tell you where to look for it, and why to do it at all. After completing the quest “Hidden Valley, Secret Hero”, you will be able to unlock two challenges in Wangshan Hall. To gain access to one of them, you will just need to open the grille with the specified key.
To do this, return to the arena, turn the camera in the north direction, and you will see the ruins of the building. Go up to it from the right side along the stairs. Here you will find a lattice door. We talked about this in more detail in a separate guide.
