In Genshin Impact, the Sparkling Chrysanthemum is a local curiosity of Natlan, which is necessary for the ascension of several characters from the Pyro Kingdom. You will need a considerable amount of these unique flowers, so in this guide we decided to show you where you can find and buy them.
Note: The exact location of the materials on the map will be shown after the release of update 5.0. Now you can read about what they are for and how to prepare to collect them.
What is the Sparkling Chrysanthemum for in Genshin Impact
Currently, it is not required to level up any of the game's characters, but this will likely change in the future, as HoYoverseplan to add a lot of heroes from Natlan. It should be remembered that to elevate even one fighter, you will have to collect at least 168 of these beautiful flowers, so we advise you to farm them in advance.
Preparing to collect the Sparkling Chrysanthemum
Recommended characters
You can collect these plants with any heroes, but if you plan to seriously farm them (that is, make not a 5-minute sortie, but arrange a real 30-40 minute hike), then we advise you to take several characters in your squad, which will allow you to significantly reduce the time it takes to collect this curiosity. All of them are listed in the table below.
Characters | Features |
---|---|
Nahida | Her elemental skill will allow you to quickly collect curiosities from afar. This will save you from having to climb trees, clamber onto ledges, and get to other hard-to-reach places. |

Ye Lan | Can very quickly cover both long and short distances in the absence of obstacles with the help of its elemental skill. |

Sayu | If you hold down the heroine's elemental skill for a long time, she will turn into a wind wheel, which will significantly increase her movement speed. Often, moving it turns out to be even faster than sprinting. |
Rosaria | The movement speed of team members increases by 10% during the dark hours (from 18:00 to 06:00) thanks to the heroine's passive skill “Path in the Night”. |
Dehya | The movement speed of team members increases by 10% during daylight hours (from 06:00 to 18:00) thanks to the heroine's passive skill “Sunny Path”. |
2x Anemo character | Anemo Resonance “Nimble Wind” appears, which reduces stamina consumption by 15% and increases movement speed by 10 percent. |
Also remember to bring a large number of stamina-building dishes with you and add them to your dry rations so that you can use them immediately.
How long does it take for the Sparkling Chrysanthemum to respawn?
As with other types of local curiosities, these flowers respawn exactly after 48 real-time hours after being collected.. So after visiting the best farming spots, just wait a couple of days and then go through these routes again or ask to go to your friends' worlds.
Where to find Glittering Chrysanthemums in Genshin Impact
The official description says that Glittering Chrysanthemums are flowers that look like wings in shape. Their petals slowly sway in the wind. You can find these materials in the wild in the Huitztli Hill area, near the Sacred Flame Stadium.
All farming spots will be revealed after patch 5.0 is released. We also advise you to keep an interactive map of Natlan in front of you to better navigate the area.
Where to buy Glittering Chrysanthemums
Unfortunately, at the moment, no one can buy this local curiosity. However, you can get some during test runs and hero birthdays. Plus, some sparkling chrysanthemums are given out for some tasks in the world of Natlan. Of course, these methods are not comparable in efficiency with farming, so there is no escape from it.
