In Genshin Impact, “Special Friends” is a hidden world quest in Natlan, part of the “In the Footsteps of the Dragon's Chosen” mission chain. While exploring the canyons southwest of the Kron Scions settlement, the heroes meet Waktana, as well as her friends – the yumkasaurus Squishy and a herd of distinctive alpacas. Our Saurian companion wants to get along with the local creatures, and we'll have to help him.

How to start and complete the quest “Special Friends”
To find the next part of the “In the Footsteps of the Dragon's Chosen” quest chain, climb to the center of the flat mountain peak southwest of the Kron Descendants tribe and approach the alpaca with the yumkasaurus.
The wary Dendro Dragon will react sharply to the appearance of the named guests and will begin to show signs of aggression – after this event, the first stage of the quest “Special Friends” will appear.
Calm the Yumkasaurus
After a not-so-friendly introduction, the creature will begin to attack. Knock off all his HP bar, to calm down. After the decisive blow, a lively alpaca will stand up for the dragon, and later the owner of the animals, Vaktana, will appear. Realizing that the guests do not pose a threat to her charges, the girl will introduce the attacking yumkasaurus Vsmyatochka and invite our tame zavrian to make friends with one of them.
Talk to the alpacas
After Vaktana leaves, a few more ungulates will gather near Vsmyatochku. Try to communicate with the perky, numb, and glutton alpacas.

After unsuccessful attempts to make friends, our Saurian will find someone at the northwestern edge of the cliff. As they approach, the company will notice a timid alpaca stuck on a wooden outbuilding – they need to find a way to help her up.
Make a Path with Wooden Planks
There is a wide wooden plank with white spots on it to the right of the edge of the cliff paints— pick it up and then bring it to the place above the alpaca. The frightened creature will slowly climb the installed ramp and will be glad to meet a new friend. It remains to tell Vaktana about the incident.
Return to Vaktana
Go to the tent on the western edge of the mountain and talk to Vaktanoy. The caretaker will explain that Vsmyatochki forgot to keep an eye on the alpaca in the hat, and promises to “talk” to him about proper care.
After this dialogue, the mission will come to an end, we will be given a reward of 20 Primogems, 150 Adventure XP, and 25,000 Mora. In addition, Vaktana will give our dragon a toy alpaca, which can be taken to the rest area of ​​the saurian companion.
