In Zenless Zone Zero, Teddy Unchained is an exploration mission and part of Agent Qingyi's “Banbu's Disappearance” story. As part of it, you will have to help a Security Service employee find the girl's shark in a cavern by tracking a distress signal, reaching a hidden passage, getting through a door with a combination lock, finding Teddy's tracks, and dealing with all the bandits. How to start the mission
During the “Banbu's Disappearance” quest chain, a Security Service employee will come to your video rental store. From her conversation, you will understand that Qingyi decided to go into the cavern alone to find the lost Teddy. Then talk to your sister/brother and Fairy to get a new order.
Then interact with the HDD system and find the corresponding task in the “Main Line”. The game will advise you to take fire, physical and/or electric characters of at least level 38. At the same time, you will be allowed to use the trial Qingyi. Note that with it you can assemble a good Electro pack of Anton and Rina or use any other pumped heroes of the above attributes.
Help Qingyi find Teddy
Talk to the Security Service employee, and after appearing on the game map, go right to the surveillance zone. After unlocking new cells, collect the 1st surveillance data package, shesterlings and denny, and then stand on the highlighted cell to find a forklift. Climb up to the next magnifying glass.
Head to the Source of the Distress Signal
Go down and move to the area on the right using the piston. Once on the other side, collect the gearlings and denny, then stand on the valve and press it once (press “F”) to turn it to the right, as shown in the second screenshot below. Now stand on it to move to the secret location.
Note: Don't worry if you've already skipped this area, as you can come back here later.
Start going down, picking up the briefcase and coin along the way. Then you can go back to the left to the valve. Stand on it again and turn it 1 time so that the piston starts facing up, as shown in the second image below.
Once you get to the top, collect the sherlings and denny, and then stand on the cage with the damaged Banbu. Chat with the bandits, after which the combat trial will begin. First, deal with a group of ordinary opponents, and at the end, engage in a fight with the Wanted Tormentor, who is vulnerable to physical and fire attacks, but resistant to ice.
This enemy is capable of both melee and ranged attacks, so stay alert even after you've run away from the enemy. Try to stun him as quickly as possible using Qingyi's attacks, and then use the main damage dealer's ult to deal maximum damage.
Get behind the door with the code lock
After dealing with the enemies, watch the cutscene and return to the playing field. You can go back down if you want if you missed the secret area earlier, but to continue the order you need to go right and enter the funnel. You will find yourself in a new area – stand on the cell with the broken akulabu and view his memories.
Stand on the shark again and select the option “Tear off the sticker on the belly…” to find out the secret code: 1138. Finish the exploration and exit the palace of the mind. Next, you will need to interact with the red levers a certain number of times so that the above numbers appear on the screens. The screenshot below shows how many times you need to interact with the handles.
Find Teddy's Traces
Go through the opened passage up. Collect the gearlings, denny and briefcase, and then stand on the red button on the right. Try not to be seen by the bandit, otherwise you will have to lose health from the agents. Also, do not try to open the shutter on the left, as you still do not have enough gears for this.
After unlocking the area on the right, collect all the gearlings and interact with the broken and injured banbu. Once you have collected the required amount, return to the gate, open it and take the golden briefcase. Now stand on the highlighted cell to get the Key. Go upstairs, collect the 2nd surveillance data folder and stand on the cell with the door, opening it with the found key.
Explore Elektroba
Go left and engage the bandit, starting the combat trial. As usual, deal with a group of normal mobs first, and finally fight the Tall Bruiser, who is vulnerable to ice and physical damage. He is a melee fighter, so you can try to shoot him from afar.
After dealing with him, collect the sherlings, coins, and the 3rd surveillance data packet, and then help the electrobu on the left. Start viewing his memories in the Mind Palace. Find the place where Teddi is being held and stand on the cage with him. Continue watching what Banbu was doing. After leaving the Mind Palace, jump into the funnel on the left.
Save Teddy
Once you get to the new area, first go left along the treadmills and collect 2 coins, a golden briefcase and ether drops in the area. Then go back along the upper road, open the passage to the lower chamber and go right along the treadmills. Pick up the broken banbus and stand on the cage with the mini-boss.
The combat test will begin. First, deal with several ordinary bandits and go through the carriage to the next arena. Here you will have to fight with the Wanted Brute and the Violent Cleaner. The first is vulnerable to fire and physical attacks, and the second is vulnerable to electric ones.
As with other elite enemies, try to stun them first using Qingyi attacks, and then attack with your main damage for maximum damage. We recommend using the superpower on stunned enemies – this way you will be able to cripple them more.
If you can’t hit them at the same time, then concentrate first on one enemy in order to finish him off as quickly as possible, and then take on the next one. Having dealt with all the mini-bosses, watch the final cut-scene.
