In Genshin Impact, Faiz's Trials: The Hypothesis is an event in patch 3.7, in which you will need to fight against various monsters, slowing down time, revealing vulnerabilities of enemies and using Supervision skills. As a reward for completing the stages, you will receive source stones, mora, and materials for pumping. In this guide, we will tell you how to start and pass all the challenges.
How to start Trial of Faiz: Hypothesis
The event started on June 21, 2023 at 10:00 server time and will end on July 3 at 4:00 am. Before you can take part in it, you will need to meet a couple of conditions, namely:
- At least 20 adventure rank. In a separate article, we gave tips on increasing this parameter.
- Complete the story mission “The Song of Dragon Freedom” from the Prologue.
Having dealt with the indicated requirements, you will have to receive the task “Experimental Phase: Out of Control Parameters”. If this does not happen, then go to the event page and click on the “To task” button in the lower right corner of the screen.
This quest is quite short. Just move to the location east of the Rift and look for a scientist named Jami next to the blue portal. Chat with him and agree to help him. This will complete the mission and you will receive 4 Adventurer's Books and 10,000 Mora.
Important: carefully study the instructions that will be shown to you at the end of the conversation. It will indicate how to slow down time and identify vulnerabilities. We will not repeat this material, but will immediately move on to passing tests.

Unfortunately or fortunately, you will have to play for four trial characters: Dehyu, Bennett, Xiang Ling and Kazuha. You won't have to rack your brains over which heroes are best suited for this challenge, but it will significantly reduce your tactical options. Plus, custom fighters are often better than test fighters.
If you are using this command for the first time, then you will probably be interested to know about its optimal rotation. It looks like this:
- Use Kazuha's elemental skill to group opponents in one place.
- Use Xiang Ling and Dehya's elemental skills.
- Switch back to Kazuha and activate his elemental burst to dispel Pyro Status.
- Use Bennett's ult, then switch to Xiang Ling and activate her burst elements.
- At the end, switch to Daehyu and use her ult, and then start pounding enemies with your fists.
Of course, this is an ideal situation in which all your characters already have elemental explosions ready to use, which is not always the case. Therefore, fight according to the current situation. The main thing to remember is that Dehya's ult should be used at the very end of the rotation.
How to get 1500 points
Use Kazuha's elemental skill as often as possible, which allows you to collect opponents in one place. This will not only allow you to quickly destroy them with area attacks, but also make it easier to identify weaknesses with the Faiz potion.
During the test, elite enemies will appear, which are quite easy to identify, since the corresponding mark hangs above their heads. Use Super Perception against them to defeat these opponents as quickly as possible and get a large number of points.
Detecting vulnerabilities (red orbs) of elite enemies is equivalent to detecting two regular vulnerabilities (blue orbs). For this reason, if the mobs are far apart, then give priority to elite opponents in order to quickly gain points for using the Super Perception skill.
Let's add that even among the elite enemies there are those that should be destroyed as quickly as possible. It's about the Mirror Maidens. The fact is that if they have time to use their special abilities, then their destruction can be significantly delayed. So use Faiz's potion as soon as you see them.
After reaching 1500 points and finding 30 vulnerabilities in 3 minutes, as well as identifying 7 weaknesses in one scan, you will be able to claim all the rewards for this challenge.

Of course, this is an ideal situation in which all your characters have explosions ready to use elements, which is not always the case. Therefore, fight according to the current situation. The main thing to remember is that Kaveh in this pack is a main-DD, so it is with him that you will deal the main damage to enemies.
How to earn 1500 points
The rotation discussed above is aimed at creating Budding as often as possible during the battle. Since Kaveh can heal himself when his cores explode, we advise you to keep him on the battlefield as long as possible – this will allow you to deal damage to enemies and at the same time heal the active hero.

Automatons are quite dangerous opponents, as they can inflict powerful attacks in an area. We advise you to save Faiz's potion in order to quickly deal with them without wasting time on their destruction.
Having identified the vulnerabilities of enemies and activated the effect of Super Perception, don't stray too far from the area of ​​effect of Rain Blades. The fact is that the enemy can follow you and leave the zone that this attack hits. So stay where you are until the effect wears off.
