In Honkai: Star Rail Hunt for Exotic Pets: The Adventures of Detective Pippi is an adventure mission and part of the event of the same name. During it, you will have to go through three difficulty levels of the combat reconnaissance “Man is a Dog’s Friend”, finding certain objects and solving several puzzles. Completing the quest “Hunting for Exotic Pets: The Adventures of Detective Pippi”
How to start the task
It starts automatically immediately after completing the previous mission in the chain called “Exotic Pet Hunt: Caring.” You will need to first bring your research level to 4. You most likely won’t even notice how one task flows into another.
Complete all levels of the test “Man is a friend to a dog”
Approach the robot located on the second floor of the Isolated Zone and talk to him. Next, you will need to go through three difficulty levels of combat reconnaissance:
- A man is a friend to a dog: Difficulty I
- A man is a friend to a dog: Difficulty II
- A man is a friend to a dog : Difficulty III
After completing all levels of combat reconnaissance, read the message from Asta, in which she will tell you about a certain surprise, which will lead to the start of the next task.
Completing the quest “Exotic Pet Hunt: Reunion”
Raise your research level to 6
Return to the furnace of life located in the same area. There you will find a Wisteria Bun similar to Gertha. She will need your help in growing new rarities. You will receive additional creature traits that will help you create the pets you need.
Interact with the Life Furnace again, go to the Explorer's Notebook and set yourself a new goal. Next, select the parents shown in the second screenshot below to create an intermediate pet with a purple shell and coffee filling.
Now take the created creature and add a second parent with a white face to it and begin nurturing until a mutation occurs. Feed Imaginary Particles to your pet. Next, wait for a special mutation and select “Imaginary particles” again to get Wisteria Buns.
Give yourself the following goal and choose the two parent creatures shown in the picture below. Raise your pets until a mutation occurs. Feed them Feather of Flame. Next, wait for a special mutation and select “Feather of Flame” again to receive a Fortune Cookie.
Set yourself the third goal and select the two parent creatures shown in the picture below. Raise your pets until a mutation occurs. Feed them the Eye of Lightning. Next, wait for a special mutation and select “Eye of Lightning” again to get a Cat with Glasses.
Find out the requirements from Wisteria Bun
After reaching research level 6, go to the creature that looks like Gerta. To do this, move to the “Pharmaceutical Cabinet” anchor in the same location, go down the stairs and chat with the robot nurse.
Take a group photo with your creatures
Before taking a photo, you can press the “R” key ” to spray graffiti on the wall behind the creatures. Choose any drawings, as this will not affect the ending and your reward.
After finishing decorating the wall, talk to the robot and take a photo of the pets by standing next to them. Then show Ruan Mei's photo through your smartphone and talk to her for a while.
This task and the entire chain will come to an end. As a reward, you will receive credits, star jades and upgrade materials. Don't forget to check out the event page to claim your reward there too.
