The passage of the quest “Ashes to dust …” in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
How to start the task
Access to it opens only after performing a story mission called “Remember the devil.” Having completed it, head to the Sedletsky Monastery, located north of the city of Kutna-Gor. After going to its territory, find Mortius to the brother’s cemetery and enter the dialogue with him.
The mysterious monk will ask you to help him take care of those who lie in Kostnik. To do this, you will need to assemble skulls and bones and even lay them out of the room. Agree to fulfill his request to start the quest.
Put the bones into three heaps
After talking with a strange old man, go to the chapel, the entrance to which is located on the right side. Next, you will need to take up the bone collection. Fortunately, one does not need to be selected one at a time, since you can immediately interact with the whole heap. Next, we will show the location of all heaps in this room – we will go from left to right clockwise.
So, going down the stairs, go to the base of the column on the left and interact with the first bone forged.
go into the opposite corner of the room and clean the two shelves with the bones demonstrated in the screenshot below. Then go to the right to the exit from the sponge and next to the other two columns, inspect two more heaps of bones.
go to the northeastern corner of the room and interact with two heaps on the floor, and then inspect the shelf with bones to the left and another pile of skulls on the right near the boards.
go clockwise the next corner and pick up the bones from two shelves next to the wall, and interact with a heap on the floor on the right side.
move on in a circle and in the last corner find four small piles on the floor and one shelf with bones on the left. The picture below shows all the necessary places.
note: if you go into a secret alcove under one of the stairs, you will find a wooden coffin with a skeleton that holds a knowledge book called “Pir dead “.
build a pyramid from skulls
we note that so far you will collect all the necessary bones, but we are already advising you to launch them in the pyramids in order to free up the place in the inventory.

Build a pyramid from broken skulls
The pyramid from broken skulls should be laid out in the southeast corner of the room. At the moment, you can place 26 cracked skulls here.
Build a pyramid from the femoral bones
Not far from the stairs leading to the exit from the chapel, you can build a pyramid from the femoral bones. Currently, you can use 239 bones.
Having laid out on the pyramids all the bones and skulls you have, go to the center of the room and interact with the hatch on the floor here. Then look at a small cat-scenes, in which you will fall straight into the catacombs.
Find a way out of the underground crypt
In this dungeon you can find the drawing of the sword of Pan Valentina, which will come in handy to you the Relicaries quest and the grave required on the assignment “after death.” However, in a particular manual, we will tell you where to find the last bones and exit from the crypt.
immediately after receiving the control over the character, go to the eastern room and inspect two heaps of bones.
Then go to the room in the south, passing through the passage on the right (if you stand with your back to the sarcophagus of Pan Valentine in front). Here you will find two more heaps: the first is to the left of the entrance, and the second – even further, but also on the left side. By the way, a little further from the second heap is the exit from the crypt, but so far it is not necessary to use it.
Return back to the room where you initially fell, and then go to the western passage and immediately turn right into a small niche, on the floor of which you will find the last pile of bones.
Now go to the southern room, where the exit from the crypt is located, and start going along the long tunnel to the southeast, not turning anywhere. As a result, you will reach an unclosed door that you will find yourself on the street.
Next, return to Kostnik and place the remaining skulls and bones in three pyramids. If you have selected all the heaps we indicated, then you should have extra knuckles, but they will automatically be removed from your inventory as soon as you complete the construction of the pyramids.
Find brother Mortion
Choose in the cemetery from the chapel and wait until Indo says that the monk is not anywhere. After that, the task will be updated – you will need to chat with the burial player Leneck, who is standing near the stone wall.
You will learn that a monk named Mortius really worked in the monastery in the past, but it has long been dead. Perhaps it was the spirit of the deceased clergyman? However, unfortunately, you will not receive any reward from the burial ground, but you will give you craft glasses.
We add that later you can find your brother Mortion in my grinders. In the afternoon, he usually sits near the pond, and at night – in the local tavern. You will find out that he decided to just joke over Indro. In fact, he is a traveler and poet, and Mortius was his grandfather. As a reward for our efforts, he will teach you poetry.
