Agree to a deal with Makal Damas
How to start the quest “The Case of the Cobbled Swan”
After talking to Nev Gallus after completing the battle in Weisshaupt, you will have a new quest “The Case of the Cobbled Swan”. Having gone to the Port City, you will have to visit the “Cobbled Swan” establishment and talk to representatives of the Threads group. Elek Tavor will ask you to rescue their leader from the clutches of the Venatori.
Once you free a few prisoners and reach the possessed Makal Damas, you will have to fight him.
At the end of the fight, the boss of the criminal group will offer you a deal to unite the Shadow Dragons with the Threads against the Venatori Bataris. You will only have two options:
- Agreed. Bataris is dangerous
- No. We will find a better way
Any of these choices do not affect the ending of the game, nor does it affect Nev Gallus' personal ending.
Agree to the Deal with Makal Damas
If you decide to agree to the deal with the Thread boss, choose the second dialogue option. Accepting the deal with Makal will allow the Threads to join you on Nev's personal quests.
Refuse the deal with Makal Damas
Refusing the deal only results in the Threads not helping Nev in her fight against the Venatori.
However, if you previously chose to save Treviso by sacrificing Minrathous, if you refuse, Nev will still agree to the deal. Which in turn will cause her disapproval.
