In Genshin Impact, “The Color of Memories” is the fourth part of the “Truth of the Battle of the Seven Colors” quest chain and the final stage of Sitlali's personal quest. Meeting Huitzilin in the labyrinth helped Citlali find a way to paint the canvas with the paint of memories. The priestess invites the Traveler to her to complete the ritual and share details of her past.

Walkthrough of the quest “The Color of Memories”
The quest will appear in the quest log after completing the previous stage “Ruins of the Seven Colors”, which we discussed in a separate guide.
Proceed to Sitlali's house
After what happened in the colorful labyrinth, Sitlali wants to talk about the secret technique of the shaman at her home – get to the quest marker to the south of the priestess's home clan and go into the building.
CitlalĂ has ​​found a way to weave the scroll, but not before she takes her friends down to the basement to a faded canvas on the wall. The priestess recalls the teachings of HuitzilĂn, who believed that memories could be used as paint for the scrolls that would write the history of Natlan. Only centuries later, CitlalĂ, wary of forming bonds with those who, like HuitzilĂn, would eventually abandon her, has come to understand the power of strong relationships. The girl takes out the scroll and fills it with the energy of color, simultaneously immersing the player in a cut-scene with a story from 200 years ago.
After the conversation, the player will be left with a memorable item Sitlali's Raft, reminding of strong bonds, as well as a canvas for Biram “Legend woven into fabric“, depicting the victory over Gosoitot.
Give the woven scroll to the chieftain the next morning (8:00 – 12:00)
After making the canvas, you need to scroll the in-game time to the next day (the interval from 8 to 12). Then head to the Mictlan reputation totem and hand the item over to the clan leader. The heroes tell the story of the technique and the amazing color, which will now have to be reinvented based on the explanations received. Biram responds by informing that the detained publicist is guilty not only of destroying the ruins, but also of disagreements over the authenticity of the legendary battle. Natlan will soon contact the Hydro Kingdom for further settlement.
Clear up the situation with Sitlali
Go up to the terrace in front of the clan's main building and talk to Sitlali. The company will be joined by archaeologist Alier, who was in Montluçon's group, but did not know about his insidious plan. As a true researcher, the man wants to ask Sitlali a few questions about the history of Huitzilin, and the girl reluctantly agrees.
After finishing the interview, Alye says goodbye, and Sitlali reminds her about the previously promised romances. In her typical spirit, she bluntly gives her friends a duplicate house key so that they can personally deliver the books to the priestess, and then leaves – this is where the quest comes to an end.
Rewards
Upon full completion of the quest “The Truth of the Battle of the Seven Colors”, the following reward is due:
- 60 Primagems;
- 1 material for leveling up the talents of the Traveler's Pyro – Cornerstone of Stars and Flames;
- 5 scrolls for leveling up the talents of the Instructions for “Incineration”;
- Reward from the event tab “Colorful Memories”: 60 Primogems, 30 Quenepa Fruits, and other materials for the ascension of Citlali.
Add mora, ore, books, and experience points to the fixed rewards, which depend on your current account level.
How to get books for Sitlali
After the main quest, don't forget to visit the publishing house Yae, located in the capital of Inazuma (see the exact location in the screenshot above). Enter a dialogue with Kuroda and choose the very first answer “I was tasked to find…” under the exclamation mark. After the story about Sitlali, the impressed editor will decide to give both editions of the novel.
After the conversation, the books “Reincarnation as the Invincible Shogun Raiden” first editionand “Please, Kitsune Kuji” will be added to your inventory. They cannot be read and will have to be taken to Sitlali's house.
Visit Sitlali's house and place the novels on the desk in the far corner of the room. The priestess was asleep at the time, so the guests left a note with explanations and a wish to drink less. There will be no additional rewards for delivery.
