In Genshin ImpactThe Painting Speaks is a hidden achievement in patch 5.2 that you will need to replay Kuntur's adventures to unlock. To do this, you will need to solve the puzzles with the colored manitou, the ictomisaurus, and the painting on the wall, as well as complete the minigame “Kuntur and Rumi”. In this guide, we will tell you in detail what you need to do.
How to unlock the “Painting Speaks” achievement
How to get to Malinalco Cave
First, move to the teleporter near the entrance to the cave where the Twilight Papilla is located, but instead of going to the boss, go through another passage located directly in front of you.
Run forward through the tunnel, destroying the cobwebs along the way, then transform into an Ictomysaur using the blue transformation stone and move forward until you reach a dead end. Use Elemental Sense (middle mouse button) to make a red rune appear on the wall. Then scan this wall by holding down the attack button (LMB) to remove it.
How to solve the puzzle with colored manitou
Eventually, you will be able to enter the Malinalco Cave. Run to the left, climb onto the wooden platform and pick up the red manitou hovering here (its exact location is shown in the screenshots below).
Next, run to the drawing on the rock on the right side, hold down the “E” key, aim at the drawing of the fruit hanging on the right, and shoot the manitou to color it red. The gif below shows the whole process. If Hydro Slimes follow you, you can safely kill them.
Then run to the yellow manitou, which is surrounded by Hydro Slimes. Deal with the enemies (if you haven't already), and then pick up the colored fairy (its location is shown in the pictures below).
Then run back to the painting, hold down the “E” key, aim at the leftmost fruit and shoot the manitou at it to turn it yellow.
At the end, pick up the blue manitou hovering to the left of the painting near the barrels and shoot it at the fruit in the center of the graffiti, turning it blue. Then wait a bit until the stone door opens, leading to a secret area.
How to get to the other side
Run forward, picking up a pyrocule and a rich chest along the way. When you reach a dead end, deal with all the Hydro slimes so that they don't get in your way later.
Transform into an Ictomysaurus using the blue transformation stone, replenish phlogiston by interacting with the fire, go a little to the left and make a strong jump (hold down “Space”) to climb onto the ledge with the symbol – scan it (LMB). This will allow you to jump even higher.
Now, do a power jump and fly to the other side. On the ledge on the right, scan another symbol and do a second power jump to get even higher. The whole process is demonstrated in the gif above. Then move forward along the tunnel until you reach the wall with a drawing.
Solving the puzzle with the drawing on the wall (help Kuntur)
Watch a short scene where you will see Kuntur ambushed by enemies. Transform into an Ictomisaur if you haven't already, then scan the graffiti (LMB), pointing the camera at the enemies. Then hold down E and place the warriors near you. Deal with the hostile spirits.
Check out the new video where the manitou will paint rocks in certain colors. Then turn into an Ictomysaurus, scan the wall behind the colorless rock, and place the rock right next to the graffiti. Turn around, run to the red manitou, and paint the rock on the left in the corresponding color.
Now pick up the blue manitou and paint the stone you placed earlier. Pick up the yellow manitou and paint the boulder at the very back. Finally, combine both the blue and yellow manitou to create a green color and paint the remaining stone with it. The entire process of solving the puzzle is shown in the gif above. As a result, a hole will appear on the ground – jump into it.
Complete the Kuntur and Rumi mini-game
After going down, run along the tunnel forward, taking the contents of the rich chest and dealing with two Hydro slimes. As a result, you will find yourself in a spacious cave. Climb the hill and interact with the stone tablet to start the mini-game.
In this challenge, you will need to choose the right places to create air currents and press the attack button (LMB) in time to lift Kuntur up, allowing him to overcome various obstacles. At first, it may be unusual, but over time you will be able to adjust to the pace. The video below shows the passage of the challenge.
After this, you will receive a luxurious chest (in it you can find “Tales of Kuntur”) and unlock the trophy “The Picture Speaks”. Let's add that an air flow will appear – you can use it to go up into the tunnel, which will take you straight to the surface.
